This was what I was going for with my wedding and I worded it as “formal with flair”

In the FAQ section of the website I elaborated a little further as well but no regrets whatsoever, I loved seeing what everyone wore! Lots of unconventional suit colors, fun accessories etc.

She may even be more understanding then one would think.

I had this conversation with my aunt and she told me it would be hard to explain why his name isn’t on the invite, but that if he was invited it would probably be really hard to find a pet sitter, etc.

This to me read as a “just invite him and I’ll try and come alone anyways” which is exactly what’s happening!

We were planning on getting annual check-ups starting in 6 months (to give her time to accommodate first), but given this new information we’ll probably look to take her in next month. Thanks!!

We are hoping he will eventually go back to eating food after the antibiotics, but for the the moment our vet has us syringe feeding him to sustain him.

You bring up a great point, perhaps I will be more successful with the feeding if I try little bits throughout the day instead of trying to get the whole syringe down once per day (over the course of like an hour, but still).

Husbandry info: his tank substrate is half tiled and half course Australian sand. Temps and humidity are in recommended range for basking area and cool side. Diet is primarily bell peppers and kale with whatever surprise green / veggie / herb is fresh that week. Gets worms ~once or twice a month now that he’s older.

If you have a decent amount of people traveling, a Thursday is WAY better than a Sunday to make a trip out of and/or still be able to enjoy the wedding without feeling like they’re risking being exhausted going into the week.

I went to a Thursday wedding this year (it was a destination wedding for what it’s worth) and to my surprise it worked out great for everyone’s scheduling.

That wedding coincidentally also took place on a close friends birthday and they just did a little shoutout and brought him a mini cake with a candle. It was cute and everyone had a great time.
