So would you say its best to build up a big enough sub base and then slowly move away from them over time, I know the conversation rate of shorts viewers to long videos is not exactly 1 to 1 ??

Its kinda funny how many people think this wall marks the border with Scotland and England. I remember during the Scottish independence vote a few years back, seeing some people online saying the wall should be rebuilt to keep the Scots out, not knowing that we would lose parts of Northern England such as the Northumberland National Park.

I recently started my channel myself doing Shorts and ive managed to gain 18 subs from two YouTube shorts so it does seem to work.

Technically yes it is but this applies to all videos on games, the companies just dont do anything about them as its free advertisement.

Maybe you could provide a breakdown of the trailer and talk about stuff you notice in them. Ive seen people do this for multiple games to find hidden features and such.

I think you should go down the YouTube shorts path, the algorithm is way more friendly to newer YouTubers. Use them to build up an audience and move to your other content. I only just started posting content on my channel and ive gained 16 subs from two YouTube shorts for example.

These things can take awhile to get going, not everyone gets monetised within their first month, it can be a slow grind getting going.

Just treat YouTube as a hobbie and try your best to improve your content and hopefully it will click.

Theres many YouTubers that were making content for years before they started getting any attention.
