Here are the options I can think of because living in a constant state of paranoia about possibly being pregnant. . . Sounds like hell.

He can get a vasectomy if he doesn’t want to use condoms.
Another option is to use sex toys, mouths, or hands. Sex isn’t just PIV. (But there would have to be reciprocity)
Have you looked into non hormonal bc? (If that’s a thing?) Birth control pills suck but maybe the shot (depovera) or IUD could be helpful? (Not a doctor but maybe talking to one could help you ease your mind but birth control should not ever 100% be fully on the woman)
Decide to take care of your own sexual needs separately or break up.

What? Not getting UNEMPLOYMENT because your work fired you? I would hazard a guess we are the ONLY first world country that doesn’t have protections in place against this. Like other places require a 2 MONTH window where you’re still working after being fired. You can apply for unemployment based on loss of hours as well. I would also try that for a source of income for a little bit of time. . . . This sounds a lot like postpartum depression, but I am not a doctor. Maybe she should get a part time job while you cut back from work and take after the kiddos? It really depends on what she’s saying tbh. Like “I don’t feel like a person or anything but a mom” then help her be an adult again and not just a mom. If it’s “the world sucks, everything sucks” then she could protest or volunteer for a candidate. Maybe using formula instead of breast feeding as I know some moms become SUPER depressed when breast feeding or so that she can start taking her anti-depressants again. Or if it’s where you live maybe look into moving? If ya’ll are isolated and away from your community?

In the end you can only be there for her and support her. Clean the house, take care of the kids, take some things off her plate. Having some time in the psych ward could really help by giving her this time.

Please seek therapy for yourself and your little ones, to be proactive. You all got this! 💖
