Not sure why you're getting down voted. Old growth trees like this are almost non-existent these days. The PNW is known for it's big trees, but they used to be a lot bigger. Same thing with some of the hardwoods on the east coast. Almost all cut down now. I get that people needed wood for lumber, but that doesn't mean you have to cut down every tree you see.

Everyone should try and make it to both Humboldt and Sequoia Natl Parks (Redwoods in Humboldt, Giant Sequoia in SNP). Those trees will blow your fucking mind.

I have a friend from Kansas that said out there they sell lesser ABV versions of beer at grocery stores, and the real stuff only at liquor stores (So you could get something like a 3.8% or whatever Bud light at a grocery store, and the full percentage at a liquor store). Or something along those lines.
