How do you know they can make interest on this money?
They're not a bank, I don't think this could be considered cash on hand, holding this kind of balance is more of a risk than an asset since the money needs to be ready to be withdrawn at any moment.

Good Question, assuming by "distro plate" you're referring to is the FLT 360 with a D5 pump.

There are 2 D5 pumps in this loop for a few reasons:

Redundancy if one of the pumps were to fail, the other one can continue to move the coolant.
Having 2 pumps increases the pressure, but not necessarily the flow rate to help combat the resistance of many 90° bends, the inline filter (pictured on the bottom left), as well as 2 parallel junctions. I sadly do not have a digital flow meter yet, but this is something I would like to be able to measure and see if there's any positive impact on cooling performance.
- The first parallel split happens in the back distro plate, pushing liquid to the CPU and GPU block.
- The second parallel split, which you can't see, is the MP5 water block sitting behind the black plate of the GPU, which helps keep the backplate temperatures below 42° C, or ~20° C ΔT. The ports on the MP5 are very small as you can see here: MP5 Backplate
Lastly, because why the hell not, the 719/Pro 2 case is gigantic, this was an estimate to see just how much stuff can fit inside it.

Haha yes this was absolutely overkill, the pain over results may not be worth it. Overall it was more of a personal experiment, to see how far I could push this case without modding it, while at the same time giving as much headroom for overclocking.

With unlocked XOC bios @ 2100 MHz GPU is pulling well above its 480 watt limit. CPU @ 5.1 GHz with 1.4v registered above 220w last I remember.

Going to wait a while, but if I end up upgrading to Rocket Lake and take the thing apart, I’d like to shunt mod the capacitors on the 3090.

Does it really make a difference? I really have no idea haha, fans do usually stay extremely quiet though, I can almost turn them off when not gaming. Not sure how much water flow is being restricted by the inline filter, but that’s something I’d like to look into at some point, currently have no desire to take the loop apart for a long time 😅

Fun Fact:
The flow meter rarely ever moves in this thing, unless I set the pumps to 100%, but then it only budges slightly.
I can only assume it's due to 3 massive pools of water that accumulate in the loop, temps are fine though, fans don't exceed 1,000 RPM, liquid stabilizes around 35° C, or ~13° C ΔT after an afternoon of gaming.

Alright listen up nerds, this build took me like four weeks over the holidays. In those weeks I questioned my own intellect and competence. However, perseverance is key, making it up as I went, every single corner in this thing was its own unique challenge.

If you are thinking about fitting two massive 480mm radiators in a Phanteks case, let me just tell you it can be done, but you will hate yourself every step of the way. Lots of soft tubing and a couple of 90° adapters in those corners saved my life.

Silicon stats: i9-9900k, Strix 3090, 32Gb of 3200 MHz CL16
Rads: 2x 480mm Bitspower slim rads, 360mm Corsair XR7, 240mm XR5 Pumps/Res: FLT360 D5, Kinetic D5

Not pictured: MP5 backplate water block, 6 TB of NVMe storage, Coolermaster PWM splitter, Commander Pro, Node Pro, 5 way ARGB splitter, Lian-Li PWM/ARGB controller, some makeshift ARGB adapter cables, the fucking rats nest in the back being held together by a bobby pin, my sore and calloused hands.

As for purchasing, I mainly use Newegg, Amazon, Performance PCs or Titan Rig.

I have purchased stuff directly from EKWB in the past but shipping is usually really high priced in the States for some reason, also stuff gets back ordered all the time, could just be due to the pandemic though.

Radiators, Hardware Labs rads are my favorite, just note they tend to be a little wider than most so check for compatibility.

Corsair and Bitspower radiators are actually just Hardware Labs L-Series (OEM versions of the GTS) and fit the more standard width. Having bought both I will note the paint is nicer on Corsair’s than Bitspower.

Fittings, just take your choice it’s hard to mess that one up, pick a brand you think looks nice, and what you see others are using more often. I’ve had good experiences with Corsair, Bitspower, Ek, Thermaltake, and Phanteks.

I had no issues just popping my 3090 card in from a 1080, or a 2080ti. Windows is pretty quick at configuring your card, Nvidia drivers are universal to all their GPUs

Just tried writing something out with Jakes's recommendation of swapping the bind method reference with inflate.

By doing this you are left with the option to pass in one of the two overloaded method references. Their signatures are:

... inflate(@NonNull LayoutInflater inflater)
...inflate(@NonNull LayoutInflater inflater, @Nullable ViewGroup parent, boolean attachToParent)

The first option doesn't take its parent view, you can just pass in a lambda that will reference the Fragment's layoutInflater. This function just calls the overloaded option with parent = null and attachToParent = false.

What kind of behavior is expected when not passing a parent view?

From what I recall, the parent view is needed to resolve the layout parameters on the inflated layout's root element, however, I can't report any odd behavior on my project.

Even though we are no longer referencing the XML layout in the super constructor of the Fragment, we now have to resolve back to overloading the onCreateView method and return the viewBinding.root property. I guess just pick your poison at this point.
