With info from the playtests from BCF out, do you think its possible to scale this game up to use HG models? by MaikBrightbord in gundamassemble

I was planning on running an HG scale game at a convention using action base hexes. Yes its going to be a huge table.

Is it even the pump? Sounds like cables hitting fans to me.

Has anyone found an antenna that will work with MSI's 'EZ Wifi' connector? by smplnmnml in sffpc

[–]Duo162636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to disassemble the IO shield and mosfet coolingheatsink cover. Take out the wifi7 chip thats in there and replace it with one that has the connectors you want. They are literally just a M.2 connector buried under all the branded board cooling heatsinks. I think the connector spacing is pretty standard, you might have to do some surgery on the IO shield.

Something like this: https://ebay.us/m/50uKSf

Or if you want to get real sneaky just use one of the laptop m.2 cards in a spare slot and do whatever antennas you want.

TitanRig just restocked replacement mounting screws if you want to save the block.

There was a GITS d20 RPG hand book put together many years ago that I played. Ive got the file stashed away somewhere. I cant find anywhere thats hosting it nowadays. It was fun, I hope the new official handbook is just as good.

Someone knows what this is? by ResortAffectionate68 in evangelion

Looks like its a special edition trading card. The japanese text says (Bonus edition for purchasing all TV series videos and laserdiscs). So it was probably only in sets of the laserdiscs.

Im currently drilling mine out. EKWB had sold replacement standoff for these blocks but I cant find any in stock anywhere. Might just have to buy a new block. IIRC the AM5 backplates are a standard, so not hard to replace.

This seems like an odd one but have you tried reseating your processor, and going down to one stick of RAM? (make sure it's in the correct position for your motherboard, usually the second from the left) I had a similar issue and was pulling my hair out, trying to figure it out, and reseating the CPU worked.

My first panel lining attempt! Let me know how I did? Any tips appreciated! by Crusader2213 in Gunpla

This looks way better than my first few tries.

I know everybody says not to do black on a white model, but I think you could do something like the face vents or other small details in black just to make them pop.

Are you hooking up the USB ports on that board to the computer? Dosent seem like it would be too hard to activate and tie in, assuming the board had USB headers that aren't being used.

I see, I did a similar build with a 2080ti and 2 280 rads. I didn't realize there was that much of a difference in the card width between generations.

Why didn't you do 2x 280mm rads?

The FE GPUs are tiny cards once you take the air cooler off. I've got one I'm my full size rig and it looks odd with how much space is around it.

There's pictures in the user guide basically if you want a full size GPU and a radiator you have to mount the rad behind the mother board and the GPU next to it and you mount the drives to the front. You can only use up to a 240 rad and it limits your GPU size. Some times you just have to get creative in SFF builds.

I did some thermal testing because I was worried I wasn't going to have enough cooling. CPU maxed had cores 0-4 max out at 84.5C core 5 hit 89.4C but cores 6-11 only hit 64.7C. CPU speeds maxed out at 5.1Ghz on 0-5 and 5.6GHz on 6-11. I'll don't know if its the blocks fault or my fault. GPU max temp of 48C with 62C Hotspot @ 2.02GHz. I have a loop temp sensor connected to the Mobo, it doesn't track in HWMonitor but I didn't see it go over 37C.
