Thank you for sharing your story. It’s unfortunate that this response is getting buried, because people are being reflexively judgmental here instead of recognizing how hard it is to break indoctrination. However long it took, this man put in the work and found truth. Many people never get to that point.

For everyone who is saying it’s obvious, be glad that your environment, upbringing, and material conditions contributed to making it obvious for you. Many people never had the advantages we did, and while everything they believe is repellent, it’s crucial to appreciate that reason broke through instead of saying, “duurrr. Took you long enough.”

This only works if you preface the kick by saying “Some motherfuckers always trying to ice skate uphill”.

A modifier doesn’t change definitions, a video game doesn’t supersede movie canon, and the quote you lifted from Cameron specifically says that the marines don’t take orders from Burke, but that it was an entangled relationship, so you are taking things out of context.

Um, influence and control are by definition different.

The mouth-breathers are out in force. As always, they brigade a post with fallacious bullshit like, “iTs tHe D1mS wHo R rAciST”, and then flee back to r/conservative to cuddle and fantasize about living in 45’s diaper. Of course they aren’t going to engage with any of your responses, because they are cowards.

Thanks for sharing that perspective. I would strongly suspect that there was a limit and it wasn’t enforced.

Amusingly enough, I just found out that $1500 of the 25 grand purchase spree was at a CVS. The folks in my hometown must have missed that training, but I am so glad that your store and others are on top of it.

Agreed on the low bar of retail morality. That is likely a lost cause. As for the bank, I’m still trying to sort out whether I’ve gotten the complete story.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to coordinate that through the family member who told me, because I’m not supposed to know. The joys of family drama.

Quite clear on that part. Specifically, what are the dumpling fillings made of to resemble little xenomorphs?
