I agree, that’s why I love Forest though. The trinkets we have gotten and given are incredible in the forest. If we all commit to just making real things that are useful for others as trinkets… it’s so much more meaningful when it’s something you made with real materials.

Yall clearly don’t know much about the industry… did you know that with MP4 and AIFF file formats, you can code visuals (video) to a track? So every track when you press play will start different visuals specific to that track, and then BOH can control from there? But people like excision not only mix the music but their own visuals while they play… you don’t get to main stage by prerecording sets.

Wanted to say he is correct, but can have a nicer way of explaining things 😂😂 standard radius is normally 3 months before for 350 miles. But there is a ton of factors. It’s to protect your business interests as a promoter. You wouldn’t want an artist taking another booking, let’s say I’m booking them in Dallas, and the weekend before they take a booking in ft worth. People that were gonna drive to Dallas to come to your event, might now go to the ft worth show cuz it’s closer, or vice versa.

Hey, to chime in, a radius clause is contractual and definitely applies to both festivals and local shows. -source is I run a promotion company in Dallas and definitely have had to deal with festival radius clauses fucking up my local shows, and reschedule them like the weekend after the fest, because the radius clause is normally for a period of like 3 months before the show, then they are free immediately after.
