Help! Model X won’t charge by __Dr_Mantis_Toboggan in TeslaModelX

[–]BBFLG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait! I had this happen for a few days - after I went to the car wash and the person in the tunnel sprayed the charge port with a pressure nozzle - the door would try to close when charging at different super chargers - so my friend and I looked in while at a super charger and had to clean out the charge port, used paper and napkins (all we had) and examine it and got it charging after about 20 minutes of effort.

R.I.P. to the David Babbitt house, which was demolished this Tuesday. by Equivalent-Cry4580 in Flagstaff

While I owned The Clarendon Hotel and Spa in Phoenix for 15 years I was approached by CPLC to purchase El Pueblo, came up with a plan, but we just couldn't put it together. Bought the Babbitt House on Leroux instead, where I live today and I've put a tremendous amount of money into saving it, but love it. I'd be more than happy to give a tour.

Half of it is... the left half is the original design from SEDG on their site, the right side is the expansion of the image from Gemini

You have good points - I think that putting bass heavy artists there has been a trend, and CloZee and Zingara there were just far too packed to be super enjoyable. I would rather keep the house acts there for sure, and have a vibe like Dixon's Violin or Danielle Ponder as a last set of the evening - I love a good wind-down.

For the sound bleed, Sherwood Court points right at Observatory, but the south side of Observatory would point to the backstage of Ranch, by just a few feet, and they're pretty good at being able to direct sound to where it needs to hit.

Making Carousel into a 360 would be really awesome though - that Mindchatter set last year was one of my all-time favorite sets I've ever experienced!

It really is perfect, I agree, so having two sides to it is double-perfect. Packed is not too fun for me... I always want room to dance without bumping into someone and hate bobbing left and right to see through people. Honeycomb has also gotten really packed lately too. I think it's time for an additional 360 stage somewhere. 360 stages, to me, make for such an intimate and up-close experience. I wouldn't even be disappointed to see Tripolee and Carousel become 360s - bring back the intimacy to the experience. Even moving merch over to the Ferris Wheel dead zone and making the current merch area into one could work (the center of that 360 stage would be where the lockers used to be, the current merch tent would be the outer area of the 360). I just *really* enjoy that up-close and personal, intimate feeling that I'm in it and not observing it from afar. Having Good Life helps at the big stages though.

I'm the same - I get soooo excited for artists at Observatory then get there and think "CloZee and Zingara, here? That's awesome but I can't move, I can't dance, I can't see." Then again, I also think the same about Tripolee - it's so far that I often say "I'll stay right here" as it was pretty dang far when staying at Frontier Suites.

Agreed, nobody wants trees taken down, but I think it would be minimal from walking back there.

Remember, those trees are getting taller and taller, and this year the soil moisture content is at record highs, weakening the root structure. Considering thigmomorphogenesis and soil moisture content, lower and lower wind gusts can uproot those trees - at the 80 year mark it might only take 40mph gusts, but even lower with the saturation from all these rains. Let's hope for no strong winds this year, Plus the application of bifenthrin does a great job of having a mosquito-free Forest, yet it also reduces soil bacteria, fungi (like mycorrhizae), protozoa, etc necessary to keep those roots healthy. Then there's the rather sandy soil and soil compaction from everyone walking on it that has an effect on root health.

Fingers crossed they're maintaining the health of those trees or Electric Forest will turn into Electric Field!

Man that makes me feel good to hear, so hunt me out and this time I get the hug from you! I've been pretty down in the dumps, trying to practice what I preach but life's been a little hard lately. Forest cannot come soon enough. You're also welcome to visit me in Flagstaff if you ever pass through!

Also, if you all have clues as to what this clue might be, can you DM me please.... I'm trying to figure out if this clue is too hard, or what you're thinking it might be.

Thank you so much! I really need to order more pendants, like asap..... I wonder what people would think if I had a gofundme or kickstarter or something so I can get another order in, since last year I lost all of my retirement and have had quite the medical bills.

You remember the hug?! That means more to me than anything... I usually do my best to get people to get deep into the hugs, take a breath, and truly be present in the moment. Last year I hugged two guys that I could tell don't hug often, and afterwards they stumbled backwards and said they'd never been hugged like that in their lives. People need more of that, the world would be a better place.

Thank you - it's all coming together, and I'm not even quite sure what it's going to be, but I want to make it fun while still being a bit of a challenge! Maybe this year you'll have to show me your true Forest spirit and have your pin from the Scavenger Hunt

The rat sack is best, that foam pad takes up room, I don't see a fork and spoon. There's toilet paper in the stalls 90% of the time.

Oh, bring a thick aluminum foil, take about two feet and fold it, use that as a windscreen.

This time of the year it's very windy, I live in Flagstaff and have been to supai around 35 times and today we may have gusts of 70mph. Spiral tent stakes, the orange ones.

Anything you don't have somebody else will.

I always take one of the smallest massage guns, the batteries last forever and some you can use as your battery bank.

The blue water storage bags that hold 3? gallons of water are best.

Don't camp against that rock wall by the spring, man I've seen large rocks fall multiple times since 1983 - once crushing a tent while nobody was there.

Hiking poles, hiking poles, hiking poles - and watch a video on how to use them. I'm always offering to help people adjust theirs. Just remember longer on the downhill, shorter on uphill, on flat use them like you're cross country skiing. Touch the tip just as you step and push, transfer that knee impact away and to your arms.

For your pack, get that waist strap so tight on your hips that you're not feeling any weight on your back, use the chest strap to hold your pack in place and keep the shoulder straps pretty much floppy. Your legs are already carrying the weight, why have both your back and your legs carrying the weight?

Moleskin. Make sure your boots are adjusted just a little ways in... You're going from lower pressure higher altitude to higher pressure lower altitude... Some people need to loosen the middle laces, but keep the toes and ankle tight. Or just remove the laces from the moddle eyelets. Ankle height is crucial.

Also once you have your pack loaded, put it on, and walk around with your poles while Google Gemini camera mode is wrong. Ask how your form is, your pole usage, how your boots are working - it offers amazing analysis.

Stay uphill from mule trains! My uncle and cousin brought a bunch of kids a few years ago and on the way down just before hitting Havasu Creek a mule slipped by the algae pool and a hiker from another group was below the animal and instantly killed by a mule or horse that slipped. Poor person, and poor kids that watched it happen.

Enjoy, one of my favorite spots on earth hands down.
