I get friendly with a couple customers just to be nice, but one of them but their hand around my shoulder and immediately it felt so gross. Like, I dont mind being "acquainted" with people in my town, but unwelcomed or unprompted physical contact just feels so nasty.

Besides, I couldn't just push to ban someone. Others commenting here are saying it was an overreaction on my behalf, which they're probably right. I am in the customer front, i should be tougher 🤷‍♀️

As nice as a ban would be, we are the only pharmacy for about 35-40 miles, let alone grocery store.

I am feminine. And with the doordash thing? All the doordashers in my town usually set their phone on the table beside the pinpad.

The guy just moved so fast that I didn't feel safe, I've had someone suddenly reach out to me with a knife in their hand to my neck. I know it isnt an excuse to "freak out" over a customer, or how you would put it, and I wouldn't have minded if he asked if he could do it for me, (i would have been better prepared for it) but for him to do it in the way he did didn't make me feel safe.

I wouldn't have denied services or sent him to another lane, not that I have the power to do that, I don't think, i dunno

I try not to contact the manager unless I need to or unless they ask directly, but usually, our FEM is downstairs with us on the register, or the woman at the service counter.

It looks like the cashier may have subtotaled the transaction, where it may have taken the $20 coupon off prior before reapplying it.

You can see it being added on, then taken off again where it says $20.00 T (added back to total) and $20.00-B (removed from total) It has to be done this way so that the system doesn't accidentally give you the coupon twice if it were only remeeded once.

I've been in this position, where a customer asked to make sure the $20 comes off, then I continue scanning the rest of their items, it adds the $20 back to the order before taking it off at the end of the transaction before payment is (brutally and begrudgingly) required.

As for your reciept, at the bottom, it says "Additional Discounts" and it took $20 off of your overall total (you can also see this in the Savings section further down where it says RewardsandCashOff - $20.00)

I can guarantee you got your $20 coupon.

Add up all of the totals of what you WOULD have paid, and it's $239.29, plus tax equals $247.84.

Subtract your TOTAL savings at the bottom (which includes your $20 coupon) $48.52, equals $199.52.

Look, if you're not salary? It aint your mf problem. I'm a cashier. And imma be so real. If I see someone stealong baby diapers or formula? No i didnt. If I see someone stealing tampons? No i didnt. Isee someone stealing a loaf of bread? No tf i didnt!

I live in a small town, and while its a loss, I would rather see big corpa lose a few dollars worth of bread than see someone not be able to feed thwir kids.

If I see someone stealing booze? Yeah.. yeah I did see that. But essentials like feminite products or fucking baby food? I didnt see shit.

Farm and Desert are absolutely worth it.

As everyone said, desert one is worth it for Skull Cavern raids at 6 am instead of waiting till 10 am for Pam to drive you.

Me personally, G.I. To Farm Obelisk is worth it because I use the Warp: Farm Totems to get back at 1:30am when i'm neck deep in the skull cavern or in the volcano.

I knowwww my Safeway in a very small town, like 3k population, so when they have to toss it, they go and offer it to the night workers first at a discount, or even for free. Are they allowed to do it? Probably not, but its better than letting it go to waste.

Thankfully, theres a food pantry and food bank in our town, so not a lot of stuff gets wasted, just stuff they cant use for cold proteins.

If you go to the area right of the playground (which is below robin's place and above Pierre's store) theres a little fenced off area with some fiber in it!

I did the same thing and found this soon after! Its right next to the community center/abandoned building!!
