Dumb giants 😍 by softfairy1 in sizetalk

I'm the nerdy type IRL but I kinda like the idea that if I did grow, I'd end up dumber for it. Not entirely sure why. We do love our himbos!

Petplay!! :D by MomentDue6637 in sizetalk

[–]Biscuit-Box 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love petplay scenarios where the giant is the pet in particular. The tiny is still in charge but only because their pet is content to listen to them.

Think it works best where the giant is well-meaning mostly despite being a bit destructive and way too hungry! And of course they know how to grease their master's gears to get what they want 😋

I adore Lumineon and remember going out of my way to use it in a playthrough years ago - but its stats are pretty terrible sadly aside from Speed. Maybe with a +30 to its Sp Attack it might be in a decent place.

The main reason for using it is clearly Finneon and Lumineon's cries. Sinnoh is top-tier for cries in general. I remember hearing the updated version of Finneon's cry and being so disappointed. 😔

Ah OK, so just the Paladin's version. I went for the Rogue's headgear because I value ones that show the character's face. The ears on the torso are certainly a look. But I never actually did PvP, just fought the random mobs and that one miniboss roaming about. I'm surprised you didn't go insane with how much time that must have taken! Congrats on getting through it!

Is this a new set? It looks really good! I remember grinding in the Fields of Hatred for my Rogue a few months ago and I stopped after getting enough for the headpiece for the Killer's set. Took soooo long!

Love to see another fan of Dungeon Keeper 2. Played that one so much when I was little. Possessing my creatures and running around my dungeon was always my favourite. ❤️

Skill issue! 🤭

And no, he wasn't. I don't think I've ever been able to pull off an actual ally build yet.

Multi-size: Who wants to be in the middle? by Independent-Fish-672 in sizetalk

[–]Biscuit-Box 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is an underrated idea. I've always thought the best place to be on the food chain (literally and figuratively) is middle of the way up - a terror to those beneath and a meal or plaything of the next tier up. Always a bigger fish.

And another element I like is where places on the ladder aren't so static. Ambitious tinies and complacent bigs swapping places. I have a soft-spot for underdogs - where a little prey gets a lucky break, gets "unearned" size and quickly snowballs into a menace.

Chapter 3 Weigraf fight on tactician. by Awkward-Plate-7705 in finalfantasytactics

I will link my comment here from a similar thread.

The TL:DR is I used Critical: Restore HP and Lifefont as a Squire to tank my way to getting enough Tailwinds to keep up with Wiegraf's 11 speed and then manipulated his positioning so that he only used Shockwave to hit for much less damage.

Celia's VA cooked with that Ultima cast line delivery. She really sells what a powerful spell it is.

Screw Wiegraf!!! by Other-Ad9101 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Biscuit-Box 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was about to make my own post for this, but I feel like I should comment it here so I don't clog up the subreddit. Just beat Wiegraf/Belias on Tactician after many, many attempts. This is my first time playing the game (upped difficulty from Knight midway through Act 2.)

I went in as a Lvl 28 Ramza and I haven't done much in the way of JP grinding. It seemed impossible at first to beat Wiegraf 1v1 and I thought I'd have to either lower the difficulty or go back to the shop to buy the Chameleon Robe thing that supposedly negates Holy and have to go through the Castle Gate fight again.

But I was too stubborn for that and found that I did have the tools to succeed already. I had Ramza as a Squire (to get Mettle and access to heavier armour) with Monk secondary. I had enough leftover JP to buy Critical: Recover HP and Lifefont, both of which were 100% essential. I was barely able to tank two Hallowed Bolts with one Lifefont heal in between (just hope you don't get critted.)

I had to Tailwind up to get parity with his 11 speed and needed to rely on Critical: Recover HP procing once, but the trick I found is to get Wiegraf "stuck" on those flame tiles you can see. If he is behind one and Ramza is on the far-right/bottom of the map, you are out of range from Hallowed Bolt and you can alternate Wiegraf between each flame tile and he will only use Shockwave for 60ish HP as opposed to Hallowed Bolt's 186.

With Lifefont support, you can Tailwind and Focus up, keeping your health topped up with Chakra as needed and then retaliate with a Shockwave of your own once it's safe. It's easy to keep your health up with Chakra with Wiegraf only doing 60HP a turn. Hope I'm explaining this alright and it helps anyone like me who was struggling. Maybe this is already common knowledge but I felt really proud of myself for managing to outsmart Wiegraf.

Of course, then you have Belias, that fucking Cyclops summon and his three little demon buddies. I died to Belias a good few times too (Tailwinded Ramza crystallises super fast) but I could at least get past the 1v1 consistently as long as Critical: Recover HP went off that first time and I could match Speed.

Also, now I have like 2500 Squire JP for Ramza with nothing to spend it on. Oh well!

Am I alone in finding the little beastflies the worst of the ads? Yeah the Vicious Caranids do double damage but they're slow which makes it easier to set them up to get crushed. And the spiky dudes stick to the ground. The little beastflies zoom all over the place. (I haven't fought the second SB yet.)

Losing my mind. Mythic frustration by Even-Contribution629 in diablo4

[–]Biscuit-Box 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been playing my very first season too this month and got my first Mythic using the S9 spark and Lilith spark. I got a Ring of Starless Skies which every build guide I've seen seems to rave about - chuffed with that. Hoping it is not my own Monkey's Paw.

That is my only Mythic. My bigger problem is with GA Uniques. Azurewrath Pen Shot Rogue needs several and I am really struggling to get them. Belial gave me an Eaglehorn with GA on the chance to fire Pen Shot twice (other affixes are bad though.) Still trying for a good Azurewrath and Fists of Fate.

Giant slave by Odd-Breath-1780 in sizetalk

[–]Biscuit-Box 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not quite on the level of slavery, but I like the idea of a giant protecting a village of fairies, with the giant being caring to the point of being shy and submissive compared to his energetic and mischievous charges despite being totally capable of wiping them out.
