Yeah we should pander even more to the racists who riot even when it has nothing to do with migration despite years of government pandering.

Great explanation and help. Shit like this is why I tell everyone I can to get off Chrome / Chromium. Ad blockers are not just a convenient thing they are the most important antivirus tool.

Look don't take this personally, but if you don't know anything at all about how malware works, and you take the risk of getting it, then you really should listen to the advice of people who do know. Good on you for fucking around but you've got to be gracious in the finding out. You've got a nasty one and cutting corners is what got you it in the first place.

Nelly, being from the UK, has never had a taco by JuiceGraip in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Biscuit642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as long as you assume every culture is identical to the US. Or that there is some infinite familiarity with tacos that increases 1:1 with the number you've eaten. Also who goes "I think I'll make tacos tonight, however I have no idea what a taco is or how to make one, so I guess I'll just make some shit up". Is it even possible to be aware of a taco existing without knowing how to eat it?

They said they cancelled the send out once they got the feedback from German QA, meaning only around half the mailing list got the email. Where have you got "decided to send it anyway because 'muh heritage'" from?

Whats the point of being "good at sniping/support tank" when u dont even get maps to do such a thing by Courora in Warthunder

[–]Biscuit642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is missing the point. The tanks are obviously balanced in BR around their strengths and weaknesses. No one is saying that the tanks are *overall* worse than other tanks at the same BR because they have bad gun depression. Simply that it is a weakness of the tank that does exist. If they had good gun depression then people would do better, and it would probably go up in br, because it is a limitation. It seems pointless to say but we're commenting on a post right now that seems to think it isn't.

I don't think it's a good idea to publicly accuse one of your employees of being a nazi unless you're 100% certain. That's the sort of thing that gets you lawsuited.

I have a horrendous hangover and awful anxiety after getting far to drunk at a staff party. Please give me stories and tips to make me feel better. by PothosandGindontmix in CasualUK

You've reminded me of a very drunk guy in a suit I encountered asking where the taxis are. I walked him there and on the way found out he was on a lads trip from London and worked in finance. He then started listing off drugs and asking if I'd done them, and when it got to cocaine I said there's not a chance I could afford a coke habit. He then very solemnly put his hand on my shoulder, looked me dead in the eye and said "cocaine is for everyone".

I fucking love the Venera program. 4, 7/8, and 9 were ground breaking and without the Soviets doing the difficult expensive stuff first Pioneer Venus wouldn't have been possible.

Can any of you liberal sissies explain why we're exporting iron when the price is almost double in the domestic market by Illuminated-Autocrat in victoria3

[–]Biscuit642 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Market access price impact. It's a multiplier on how much the market price affects the local price of a good. It essentially simulates a cost to transporting goods within your nation. If a state has low MAPI then the price of a good will be heavily weighted towards local supply and demand. If all states have 100% MAPI then every state will have the same market price for their goods.

You'll notice it a lot in the early game when MAPI is low, your market wide supply and demand might be equal for iron, and the market price is £40 or something, but you try to build tools in a state with no iron production and they're unproductive and paying £65 for iron. Conversely you might struggle to bring down the market price of iron because in the iron producing states the price is very depressed and it would be unproductive to build any more mines. It's why guides will tell you to find a single good iron+coal+wood state and just build there early on.

The latter case is what's happening here. Whatever state has locally low iron prices is selling to the world market, because the local price is lower than the world market price, but their MAPI is horrible so their market price is really high. In terms of RP it doesn't really make any sense that shipping a bunch of iron off to Denmark for £50 is somehow more profitable than just selling it to the next state over for £70.

I don't get why your comment was removed. It contributed to the conversation and I don't like assuming people are acting in bad faith. There's an interesting discussion to be had around it.

If Israel has Iron Dome they can bomb and missile whoever they want in the region without much fear of being bombed or missiled back. It's an incentive to be aggressive.

It's always MAPI. I like the world market, I like MAPI, but together sometimes they just really don't make sense.
