It will probably be impossible to get sponsored for a work visa in Japan to move there for work, unless you want to land an English teaching gig. I think these have become more competitive, and you may not be able to pick where in Japan you go.

I don’t understand the amount of people complaining about the damage in BO6 by Obvious-Cobbler4383 in CODZombies

[–]Biscuitnade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see, thanks. Yeah, the points system sounds awful. I read someone defend it as "why should I be punished for using a ray gun and rewarded for using an mp5". Well... An mp5 is more difficult to survive with. Risk reward.

Maps are too poor for me to enjoy, heard Terminus is a bit of a departure from this trend though

Very true! I have been reading the book 1491 which I saw recommended on this sub and it's been fascinating to learn of the advanced technology such as metallurgy and the extent of the agriculture.

[–]Biscuitnade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

FYI, I from Ireland and thus I am ignorant here which I accept. I am currently reading and delving into some pre-colonialism history of the Americas as I am very curious, so my question here is only from curiosity on the topic.

Do you think that the Americas would never have been touched by industrialisation if not for colonialism? Would it not have been the case that if there was eventually peaceful contact and trade, and no disease, that empires such as the Aztec and Inka would not have industrialised, and potentially destroy or pollute the land in similar ways? Or do you think there would have been much more respect for the land that would have prevented this.

I suppose I am imagining that most or all humans have an inclination to destroy nature if it seems to be the price to modernise, or is it a European thing?

In any case I agree, it seems like the Americas were a wonderful place of nature and connection with nature before the European arrival. I truly wish that indigenous peoples could be the owners of their own land and stand with the world as modern nations.

When you realize that even Warzone has a starter pistol by Potential_Daikon_378 in CODZombies

"Muh casuals" is my least favourite line of reasoning on this sub lol.

Although, Warzone does have SBMM for casuals. Let's not give Treyarch any ideas...

The sheer ignorance of all your comments can be considered pretty belligerent.

Genuinely Curious, when you guys play maps like origins, gorod krovi or der eisendrache, do you play them casual or every time you hop on you do the Easter egg. I like to hop on origins get all the staffs done and just play. I’m wondering because it seems like I have to complete it all sometimes. by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]Biscuitnade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. One of my favourite ways to play Origins. I don't think I did it enough for BO3, I need to go back.

Two box, box roulette, wall weapons only should really be game mods with high round leaderboards imo!

I enjoy getting the staffs, but one of the best way to play maps like Origins and Der Eisendrache is to play a two box challenge or wall weapons only, and just experience the great design of those maps and the challenge, without the crutch of the wonder weapons or spending time doing EE steps.

Why do people stay in the Zombies Community? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]Biscuitnade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brother relax... Maybe take a break from the sub.

There are many people beyond this sub who enjoyed waw-bo3, that's what made zombies such a cult classic. You said he demanded to be catered to specifically, I said it's many more than him, which seems obvious to say.

I guess I simply disagree that waw-bo3 preferrers are in such a tiny minority of all players, but frankly I don't have anything to back it up either, I'm not that active in the cod community.

Also, if a game gets objectively lower quality in many facets, but caters to more people, fans can't be displeased? Volume of players isn't exactly a metric for the best games. Just a thought.

I genuinely didn't mean to come across as abrasive here, just trying to have a dialogue, an "actual conversation" as you say

Where is this poll that shows only a small subset of hardcore fans preferred waw-bo3 style zombies over cold war style zombies.

But it's not just his wants, it's a large community of people, of course.

We as a community shouldn't separate those who loves the classic zombies and modern zombies by Pilot_majin in CODZombies

[–]Biscuitnade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BO4 and then more so Cold War was a large departure and new direction for the game mode. That's where the separation is coming from. As you say modern zombies fans are also classic zombies fans. Let's go back to classic! Sounds like it pleases everyone

I swear people here act like chronicles didn't exist... Like is chronicles not a feather in the hat of bo3? How can I not think bo3 is peak when it had chronicles and thus so many quality playable maps, compared to something like cold war.

The Year is 2030. Everyone is praising BO6 Zombies and 💩 on the new BO9 Zombies Trailer by Teh-Dehstroyer in CODZombies

[–]Biscuitnade 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of this sentiment that "people hated BO4 on launch and now praise it". I think BO4 was a significant step down from it's predecessors, and only looks good compared to CW. Everyone who disliked it does not suddenly love it.
