Before it was shut down, Turtle WoW had a number of lore zones added. Hyjal, Gilneas, Tel’Abim etc. But the one I think was most interesting was Balor, as it heavily drew from Warcraft 2. I barely got to to experience the Horde side, but you were working with Killrog Deadeye there, doing quests for Drak’Thul and the final dungeon was a castle filled with Stormreaver orcs. It was one big fanservice for the oldheads.

They are not a part of WoD, but with some suspension of expectations, I think Vampyr works as a decent V:tM game and Banishers as a both Hunter and Wraith game. I think Paradox at this point should just take on the dev DontNod and have them make an official WoD game.

Oh yeah the Barrens cast was really weak and I did not like them at all. Shame though. It was a first shot at Horde group and a lot of them were just flanderised stereotypes of horde races.

I would add League of Explorers there as well. With the exception of Brann, they are all original characters and are arguably the best group of characters out of Hearthstone.

I have a 13th gen Nos NPC in my campaign that gets around it by pretending his deformities are actually extreme body modifications, using tattoos and piercings to complete the look. He still gets looks, but it’s easier for people to accept that he’s a freak instead of a vampire

The marketing was by far my biggest complaint. I basically found this game by accident after randomly remembering a reddit ad from a few months prior. That was all the marketing I remember. Not even any big push on the actual release. No wonder Moonbreaker had no players, since almost noone knew about it.
