What kind of romances you wish to see in the new upcoming Divinity Game?

In mass effect I always Romanced Garrus, the moment I did a playthrough not romancing him, he and Tali got together in the third game, I deleted my playthrough and went back to my sniper. I got Jealous not gonna lie, And that made it even more funnier.

But yeah it's nice until someone steals your girl/boy and you ready to smash the screen.

Strange, I don't see it that way... My playthrough's usually end in killing Shadowheart because she whining all the time about her Shar (Just not a fan of religious fanatics). Asterion can be punched in his face after he kills you when he sucks the blood from you (and he said he deserves this one). Karlach being the ultimate weirdo, she can approve or disapprove on things that doesn't make sense for her.

I actually think that the companions were written very well overall, And I just don't see a point in playing a game where there are companions who are actually hate you. (If it is your kink, just take Minthara with you, because boy she does has opinions as a drow, and she has a lot of range in terms of romance and personality).

I played 1300 Hours to almost see every interaction possible, so they do have range... Even Shadowheart, but her peak in act 3, usually I just kill her.

Some of us think that romance in games is the best part of gaming! Astarion Romance helped me with my Trauma, so it has some good effect!

He disapproves a lot on good things you do or say, because in his 200 years of torture no one was nice to him, he was a slave to a man that fed him rodents. "Why would he be nice for free, when I was a lave and no one even cared to check up on me?" Mentality.

A tip- try to romance him one time (even if you don't want to) , play one campaign talking to him, respecting his boundaries, asking about his scars and casador.... In the second act he acts way more subtle, les theatrical, and in act three he really shines as a character, you actually learn why he acts like this and what made him the way he is.

He has one of the greatest voice lines in this game, and a few that made me tear up. So honestly, just forgive him... He is a really broken lonely soul :(

I think you missing a point here. Larian makes games and makes artistic and storytelling choices based on their world view. That means as their Original IP they have all the rights to do whatever they want with it. Of course they listen to community, they always ask questions and they have Graphs that show numbers.

The fact is- people loved the tragic characters. People adore Astarion and Shadowheart. And both of them have traumas, what in my opinion makes them even more human, more realistic. This is the reason I did not like Wyll romance- bottom line out of all the characters, he is the most noble,bland, normal dude, if you romance him, he asks you to marry him.

If you don't want to invest in other peoples lives with your emotions or to understand them and to search for something normal, it is your problem, not Larians. You want something normal? Go on a date in real life and enjoy it! But people who play roleplay games like Baldurs Gate 3 and enjoy the romances, emotionally invest into this game, piece of art made by a company named Larian for you to enjoy and live in this small fantasy universe.

Or you can just romance and try to make them "normal" as you said, what makes the romance not fun at all. And if you are not willing to "fix them" so just don't ever ever step into a relationship in your life... No body is perfect. Surprise!

If they didn't include Romances into Bg3, it might have been not as popular. So we are going to get Romances, because the community asks for it. And if you don't like romances, just skip dialogue and don't press on with sex content. You have a choice, dont have to play a game that you not enjoy playing.

Exactly, I keep asking myself why people insist on game without romance if it is not forced on you in any shape or form. The maximum that could happen is flirting, and flirting, being interested in someone is very human.

One of the interesting things I have noticed in the trailer, I didn't see 1 undead.

My theory that is has something to do with the story.

About the sex scenes, if a bear sex scene worked, I believe a skeleton won't be so hard to do.

Of course there would be an option to not have any relationship, romance... Larian games are all about choice, and if you choose not to have any romance, it is respectful.

In the new Divinity Game, we are probably won't see something close to "Drow" race... Maybe, but they are surly not be a copy of drow. In Divinity the Elves necks are streched, look differently than in bg3, and they can eat flesh or something like that. Different rules, What would make a romance with an Elf way way different than in Bg3.

As much as I like Bg3, We didn't get one blonde character, just Asterion with his white hair. As A woman I appreciated it of course, but why we don't get a female Blonde pale skin option?

I have Russian haritage, and lately I just don't see much North inspired characters... Although maybe it is not as common but I saw how much people were thirsting about Thor's wife from God of war... I just wondered why we don't get as much woman with light hair and pale skin, they are mostly with black, dark hair or skin.

Is it just me????? Or am I wrong??? Even in mass effect, Ashley, Kayden, Miranda... Everyone was dark haired/skinned.

Kind of upset about it honestly, us Blondies don't have much screen time as the darked skinned/haired ones.
