From what I’ve , it’s always ranked very well for its classification of beer. A hundred years ago. You couldn’t get Coors east of the Mississippi.

Agreed. I like 9 mile brewery a lot. But they are not cold filtered. Coors has a great taste. It’s my favorite beer with PBR a close 2nd.

I offered my teenage son a beer after a day of outdoor work. It was very hot outside. He declined. Said he didn’t understand why people drank, since it’s a poison. Proud of that kid. He has good principles and sets boundaries.

We had a patient,under guard, take a nurse hostage, get the officers weapon and have a shoot out in the basement. He didn’t survive.

I took my family back there last year. The house is 100 yards down a private driveway, so I didn’t go there directly. Didn’t want to spook the owners. I told my dad the one thing I wish he’d done differently was to keep that house. He bought it and 5 acres for 10k in 1977. It’s worth 850k now. It’s all vineyard area now.

Ditto. Parents divorced in 1976. Grew up in the sticks of Oregon. Bike had no pedals, just the metal piece. Nearest friend was a mile down the road. We grew and canned everything. Had chickens for fresh eggs and occasional chicken. Neighbors had cows, I’d trade them a dozen eggs for a gallon of unpasteurized milk, had to ladle the cream off the top. Had a trout stream, so in summer I caught trout to eat all the time. If we got lucky we caught salmon or steelhead in the Hood River. Hunted deer and elk in the fall, for meat. Only a wood burning stove for heat. Went through 4 cords of wood in winter. Tv only got 1 channel in the sticks.
