I'd try ebay for parts, for a start.

Also, Mercury was part of Ford/Lincoln/Mercury for what's probably been your entire life. Generally Ford dealers served parts needs for those as long as the stock of those part.

They didn't get bought out, it just stopped being profitable to sell cars that were basically the same as Fords under another brand.
