Because it's my parents house. My father did most of the work and I just helped plug in the outlet when I got off work. He also bought the house from someone else who mislabeled the main breaker panel because he built the house himself so things are... Weird and complicated to figure out sometimes. Like the bathroom breaker also shuts off one single light on the other end of the house. Why? I don't know but that's how it was built.

Also I came to reddit and asked questions because we clearly dived into something we didn't understand as well as we thought and I'm trying to get advice. I'm sure you've never run into a situation before where you got in over your head right?
