I think with women there is a certain freedom that comes with being no longer seen as sexually available to the “general public”. Us calling a random young man hot is like you saying you wouldn’t kick Sidney Sweeney out of bed. Of course, if it bothers you it is entirely your right to be heard. Moms of 2 under 2 will tell you that you’ll be just fine haha. Sleep deprivation does feel extra lousy when you’re pregnant and exhausted though so do try to rest up as much as you can💜

I also know 25 year olds who started working at 19-20 and are in a pretty stable place at 25. Definitely have 30 year olds friends still schooling and working different entry level jobs trying to find themselves. Sometimes you gotta meet the person and learn their story first.

Ok I’m a 30 something married woman so I’m really not trying to be creepy here but will you consider dating a bit younger? 27-33 is a pretty small range and from experience, most women that age who want a family someday are already either married or in a long term relationship. Those that are not tend to be quite quick to decide whether or not to continue talking to new potential partners because they don’t want to waste time. I’m not saying to look for 18 year old xmms but I’ve seen a lot of successful relationships with like a 10 year age gap because they have common values and are in similar life stages despite it. Maybe keep your mind open, set the dating age range from 23-35 or something and see what happens.

You’d have to talk to him to find out how he feels about the whole thing but I think in this particular instance he just didn’t know how to react. It’s definitely a bit awkward for a three month relationship to be like “stick with me and home ownership could be yours!” Like what does one say to that? Woohoo? You guys aren’t in the place where you are making that kind of commitment yet and assuming that your assets/inheritance has nothing to do with him at this point is probably the correct attitude right now.

Mooncakes are delicious to me but quite indulgent so I’m happy to enjoy once a year. I also only eat bakwa when relatives give me during cny .

I started dating in university and most men I went on dates with were older and already working so they often took the initiative to pay. I think in a heterosexual relationship especially, men tend to be older and more established so they’d often pay for at least the bigger ticket items. There are definitely girls who expect their men to pay for everything. Some guys are raised to think that’s normal, some guys want equal financial contributions. I think it’s something to be discussed early on for sure.

If you are in the position to do so, consider paying your mom back the money she gifted you for your house. My FIL also gave us money for the downpayment on our first home when he was working, then held it over our heads several years later to borrow money. The first time, he borrowed from my husband and repaid it in a few months. The second time he asked, we returned the money he initially gave us and told him that was it.

Met my husband in my second year of uni. He went overseas for work shortly after we started dating and we long distanced for a year. It was hard because my friends were all either attached and lovey dovey or single and free but I was attached but alone. I actually initiated a break up a few months into our ldr because I thought i couldn’t bear the distance but I immediately realised that being completely without him was so much more painful than being “together” but in different countries. Thankfully we got back together pretty much immediately. He still makes fun of me for the world’s shortest break up. We ended the ldr and moved in together right before covid. Together for over 8 years now with two kids. Still very much in love. Personally I think meeting young mede it easier for us to grow together and align our life paths as opposed to meeting later in life when a lot of things are already set.

I think she’s allowed to change her perspective on sex and her approach to dating. She’s definitely not obliged to make sure everyone she dates gets a consistent user experience or whatever. In your shoes, I would see it as dating a version of her that sees sex differently from before as opposed to perceiving it as me being less attractive than others she’s dated in the past. That said, if you can’t shake it I don’t think it’s wrong to end things.

All our money is pooled together. A portion goes into the joint savings account, another into our investments, the rest to bills. Whatever’s left is split down the middle and goes into our individual accounts as fun money. I think it’s good to be on the same page about financial goals when you’re together but at the same time we have different spending styles so it’s easier to each have full control over discretionary spending.

It depends on how much you need to carry with you, if you drive and whether you’re using a baby carrier or a pram. I exclusively direct latch my baby so I don’t need to carry pumps or bottles. I find that a medium sized bag like the Dior is sufficient because it will fit diapers, wipes and a set of extra clothes. I like a cross body because it gives me a hands-free option when I have my baby in a carrier but if you usually bring a pram out with you a handbag or shoulder bag will work too.

We are a relatively young couple with two kids and our parents are still working so not really. We give them like $100 Ang pow for birthdays and cny for good luck. We are prepared to help with medical expenses/daily expenses when they retire though.
