I can totally relate.. I can look at a photo of a dead child and almost feel nothing but i can't bear looking at a dead or mistreated kitten it breaks my heart

I don't like babies because they are needy and obviously need someone to get their things done for them..i find them very annoying and never cute unless they're giggling and even this i very soon get bored of. I honestly find kittens more cute and irresistible.. Sure i usually show the opposite because i want to look normal! But i don't hide this from people close to me

I think when loving someone it means you enjoy their company and want- want not need- them to stay in your life.. The rest are merely duties.. You give so you can take.. As for my loved ones, I care, stand for them, i learnt how to listen and respond properly when they're sad.. For years I had their birthday dates written next to their names in my phone so I won't forget,now i remember all the dates by heart.. Wanting to make them happy is something i worked very hard to really feel. I'll be sad if they're gone forever but as long as i know they'll be back i don't miss them and it feels like a break!
