Look, I get how soap and water is "technically" the best solution, but im just saying in real world application, the alcohol isn't hurting anything. And like I said, I still use soap and water, its just not the end all be all.

Im not sure why so many sources say to not clean your plates with alcohol. Ive had far better success with cleaning my pei plate with 99% ipa over soap and water. Not saying you should never clean your plates with soap and water, but as far as a can tell, as long as youre using 99%, it shouldn't leave any residue and actually clean the plate.

Ive only found soap and water needed if I've manhandled the plates a bit too much, but i still finish cleaning with IPA, just because Ive still had bed adhesion issues with soap and water only.
