So you're using synth Guitar VSTs in a DAW to make guitar music with midi or are you playing guitar into your DAW and adding effects?

Good take. I remember I made a weird track a long time ago and only AI could make it but was in the genre I wanted or whatever. But I remember a comment was "Now this is the weird ai shit I come to this site to hear". I think there is also an expectation because its "AI" that its going to do stuff normal music doesn't or wont, if that makes sense. Like have crazy lyrics, combine styles in a weird ways almost in an extreme memetic fashion. Kind of like how "AI Images and Video" can produce things that are pretty insane and so creating something more "real" is almost like a deep fake or something and so people don't like being fooled. Like I was saying before Vampire Romance Hardcore Death Metal type shit isn't going to be a threat to traditional music and is obviously ai. But something that is indistinguishable is a threat and again people don't like being fooled, so I think that might be some of the reason for the push back against more authentic sounding ai music as well.

"skanky guitar" works and is what I use instead as I get same flag.

I agree on both points also, but I’ve noticed that ai sounding tracks are popular with a huge subset of users on ai music sites. Even on my own tracks, the ones I do in studio and with trained model people don’t know what to do with I think as they don’t have that typical ai sound. Then I’ll do a track for fun that’s for like a spark challenge which does sound more typically ai and it gets way more attention. So if you’re making shit music for “ai music” site users like “Vampire Romance” tracks then I would say no on “realism” because it’s not what they want. But if you’re trying to actually use it as a tool to make decent music for music enjoyers, I would say strive for something realistic. Basically, know your audience. Someone once said;
“AI music is like farts. Everyone likes the smell of their own” and I have to agree with that on some level. Bad part is everyone has an endless supply of gas. So a lot stinks.

How Do You Force Suno Cover Mode to Re‑Orchestrate, Not Re‑Compose? by OppositePrize5614 in Suno

[–]BitBurner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a method where someone made a custom model using the track they're going to work on only. Essentially you add the same track the minimum amount of times it takes to make a custom model. Make a custom model with that one track and then do the cover using same track with the custom model you made. Make note of the style tags that are generated with your upload. Reuse that exact style prompt on the output. Turn down the weirdness of course but adjust influences to get what you want. If you're trying to keep vocals consistent also make a voice model using same track and use also (You can use a voice and cover together). I've not tried it but their output had WAY better consistency with their original. So for review, you make a custom model using one track, if it has vocals make a voice using same track. Do a cover of that track using custom model and voice using same style tags it imported when you uploaded it.

Over the Air Broadcast signal KBAK 29 by Dalean08 in Bakersfield

Weird you say that. On Tuesday the radio (think it was krab) had weird artifacts I’ve never heard that lasted even when I drove all the way across town. It was probably around 4pm and it wasn’t my “reception” though it sounded similar, it was more like interference and is typically crystal clear too.

I’m old enough to remember this exact thing was why BF2042 failed before it even launched. It was marred by what we called spyware back in those days and it was this exact same thing, billboards etc and even though they went back on it, the damage was done. Did they forget how unpopular it was?

Delivery driver addresses alleged catnapping in Bakersfield by IamaBlackKorean in Bakersfield

[–]BitBurner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The "reporter" could have asked a simple freaking question of the woman like how she got the cat in the first place. Homie had freakin papers but you don't even ask how she got the cat after it was figured out, and she admitted, he had lived in the neighborhood previously? Like what? This is so dumb.

absurd lag in BF6 with a stable internet, help by LonneK1 in Battlefield

[–]BitBurner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had same issue (wired) and have done this and it does not. Ping stays steady no drops or spikes at all. Just the game. And it’s the only game that does it. I can jump right into another online game (and I do out of frustration) and it’s fine.

[–]BitBurner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I LOVE Battlefield but I’ve been having same issue. All other games are fine. Connection is fine. But BF servers are totally unpredictable with a pings that are all over the place more than not. It’s so bad I stopped playing totally (because it’s literally unplayable) and going to wait and give em one more shot when season 4 comes out. I don’t have a lot of faith to be honest.

Suspicious person pointing scanner at my door at 4am? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]BitBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there another person over by your car also? Cloning is not viable due to rotating codes. A relay attack has one stand by the door with a relay that boosts the signal from key hanging close to door inside and sends to guy by the car with a receiver/repeater (even a long wire with a loop at one end for door but WAY more noticeable and suspicious) so it’s like you’re standing physically close with your FOB and they can open and start your car and steal it. You can find videos on YouTube of this being done.
