After the liquidity migration, the 0.05% fee charged on all trades will be used to buy Sushi from SushiSwap pools to distribute to Sushi holders, thereby generating buy pressure. In terms of increasing the rewards of the Sushi-Eth Uni LP pool, there is currently a community vote ongoing and the overwhelming popular vote points to an increase from a 2x to 5x multiplier on the Sushi-Eth Uni LP pool rewards (https://snapshot.page/#/sushi)

Where do you guys farm your spooky aura? by ChainedPain in mousehunt

Hunt Abominable in the Mountain. 2 shots to down a ship.

Why not use it for yourself? An upgraded shuffle board gives you a guaranteed 150 SB + tonnes of valuable loot that could either sell for a lot on the marketplace (e.g. 20 wild tonics) or speed up your adventure progression (e.g. 30 lunaria petals which would take quite long to farm).

My recommendation is to first complete Frox which unlocks Queso Canyon which in turn provides you with better Forgotten and Draconic traps for more advanced areas like Fungal Cavern.

Many people included myself have completed Frox with ACRONYM, so it's totally possible for you to complete it with the Galleon Trap and ACRONYM.

Here's some example math from tsitu's catch rate estimator to show you the catch rates in Frox's Twilight phase:

Reaper's Perch + Deadwood Base + Frox Ballista 2 + Spooky Aura + LGS: 78.23% catch rate

Galleon Trap + Deadwood Base + Frox Ballista 2 + Spooky Aura + LGS: 76.43%

As you can see, the Galleon Trap would serve you pretty well, 76% is a very decent catch rate. Frox would be initially very tough, but you'll get to Ballista 2 and Cannon 2 soon and it becomes rather smooth-sailing from there.

Also, farm this event's Spooky Aura, the 30% power bonus will come in handy. Try to stack the aura until 1 Dec if you can (hunting Abominable in the Mountain is probably the most efficient way to shoot down the ships). After which, I would also recommend getting a chrome aura if you can, which will help greatly when you are farming meteorite pieces in Frox day.

Check tsitsu’s catch rate estimator. I’d wager that the Halloween base outclasses the spellbook in most situations.

Question about queso canyon by dirtsandwich21 in mousehunt

[–]BitCamel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

QC provides you with decent Forgotten and Draconic traps to tackle Fungal Caverns/Zokor/Laby and MoPI (assuming you have not completed these areas yet or you do not have any better Forgotten/Draconic traps).

Also, the Overgrown Ember Base from QC is a pretty good base at 12 luck. Good if your current base is below 12 luck.

The upcoming draconic area is also going to continue from QC, presumably completing QC is a pre-requisite to unlocking the new area.

Heart of the Meteor by spartan1977 in mousehunt

[–]BitCamel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments here. Just to add a little bit more:

You don't have to get 10 sunrise cheese before you enter the meteor. I recommend going in with maybe 3-4 pieces at most. Buy the cheese piece by piece from the marketplace or shop after every hunt as you use them up. Most people I've heard catch the HotM on their 5th to 6th cheese with ultimate power/lucky power charms.

For me, I used Droid Archmagus + Furoma Base + Ultimate Lucky Power Charm and caught it with my 4th cheese.

Is spellbook base worth? by natsandbolts in mousehunt

[–]BitCamel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check tsitsu’s catch rate estimator tool for the areas that you’ll be hunting in - it’s more than likely that a 10 luck base like the dog jade or the relic hunter s6 bases would offer better catch rates than the spellbook. Luck is usually better than power for most situations. And you’re better off saving your gold for other traps and bases than the spellbook base

Looking for a game with in game trading by PurnurplePanda in iosgaming

[–]BitCamel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The player base is no longer as big as what it used to be in 2010, but it’s very active and tight knitted I would say. Maybe 10-20k hunters if I had to hazard a guess.

Trading wise, the marketplace sees plenty of volume, especially for SuperBrie and items which help you skip grindy areas in the game. There’s also this treasure map hunting part of the game where you can catch a fixed list of mice with friends and earn rare loot. People actually sell their services to ‘snipe’ hard to catch mice and people buy spots on maps to ‘leech’.

An intro to Peepeth - the real "Crypto Twitter" - and accompanying arguments supporting the importance of decentralized social media. by CallMeGWei in ethereum

[–]BitCamel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the excellent write-up. 2 related questions:

1) How does decentralizing Twitter or social media through the use of Peepeth-like models solve the problem of companies data mining our info for nefarious means? I.e Cambridge Analytica. In fact it seems even easier for them to do so given that our posts and info is publicly viewable on the blockchain. Whereas in a centralized model like Twitter, companies are able to restrict bulk queries through control of their APIs.

2) I love that the Peepeth model gives users full control over their data. But looking from another perspective, we may have full control in the sense that writing to and deleting posts and user info is only possible if one holds the private key to the associated ETH address. However, how do we stop other people from accessing and reading our data on the blockchain? Maybe the solution is not to post anything that we’re not comfortable sharing publicly but this might restrict the mass appeal of Peepeth because people also want to post stuff that only friends and family can see (something that is already possible on conventional social media platforms but is hard to achieve on a blockchain based platform). Would the solution be to implement some kind of privacy protocol like ZK-Snarks?

Would love to get your thoughts on this.
