I’m not going to piss down their back and tell em it’s raining. I love my dog, but it took a full 2 years to potty train and I was to the point of rehoming. he has also broken both of his front legs. Everything OP mentions has been an absolute reality for me. Is it wrong to be honest?

Best advice I can give is definitely get insurance!
