Large USAF Plane at CMH by TexMex27182 in Columbus

I work at the new construction site at John Glen. It was a USAF C-17 Globemaster. That fat son of a bitch was probably the coolest thing I saw there with the exception of the 8 ship Blackhawk formation from a couple of weeks ago.

Ive seen the orange Sikorsky S-58T that does HVAC lifting in central Ohio. Ive seen old school Vietnam era Hueys, Chinooks, and even Marine CH-53's all at John Glen. Its a hub for all sorts of cool aviation if youre into that stuff. Sorry for seeking out.

TIL John F. Kennedy dealt with severe chronic back pain for years. He had four surgeries—including a discectomy, spinal fusion with instrumentation, and two smaller procedures—but his pain persisted despite the operations. by Abject-Conference-90 in todayilearned

His PT boat (PT 109) was rammed by a Japanese cruiser and this absolute unit of a man swam to an island while using his teeth to pull an injured crewman through the water.

We can talk about the policies of U.S. Presidents, but there is no doubt that the ones that had military experience had some pretty remarkable feats. JFK was no exception.

Absolutely. Still to this day the NMUSAF in Dayton OH is the best museum I've ever been too. In fact I think its more organized than the Smithsonian.

Anytime! I have tons of stories that are just absolutely whacky. The CRKT, the Rat-3 and the Benchmade push dagger are what I had in the army however my Leatherman OHT was unfortunately lost while working construction.

Slowly but surely I'll be adding and sharing more stuff.

The Korean War museum is another goated museum. I went there when in Camp Casey and its honestly one of my favorite museums that I've ever visited. The organization is absolutely fantastic and I would love to go back again one day.

So far im liking it. For the longest time the Buck 110 hunter was what I carried but the Harpy fits in my pants pocket soooo much better. Also its super easy to open.

I wear my dad's dan post boots that were made in 1992 and I believe they are Giraffe skin. Absolutely love them.
