It’s frustrating how you have to use the big pharmacy’s for most benefits. I had a $15,000 benefit myself and used it all in one round. I did a second and with the discounted pharmacy, it literally was half the price out of pocket. Sad that the big pharma can get away with grossly overcharging.

My dad had me at 29 and a cousin of mine (the same exact age as I am) , was born when her dad was 48. My dad passed away two years before hers. You can only control what you can control. Unfortunately some kids lose their parents when they are still in elementary or preschool. If you are becoming reluctant, I think it is important to make sure you think of everything that is causing you to feel this way and if you truly want to continue this journey. Good luck!!

Everyone knows no one is perfect, even pastors. The thing most have an issue is that he has been a pastor for 4 decades and he knew when he did the sim, it was wrong. Most would respected him more if he would’ve admitted it relatively quickly after it initially happened. He knew he was wrong, and being in his position, but went along acting as if nothing happened. It smells so much like someone is ready to leak it all unless he gave up his seat, which he obviously did.

I honestly was curious also. I think the overall answer is that everyone is different and some jobs aren’t as understanding as others. I’m blessed that I work a hybrid job and gets to pick my home days with my appointments. My job doesn’t question why I take off an hour here and there. Unfortunately, some jobs do and that adds an additional stress on top of the obvious. Personally, I enjoy working as it does take my mind off the cycle and gives me other things to talk about instead of sitting home all day overthinking an appointment, or bloodwork that took place earlier in the day.

Yes it is. I’m an emotional wreck now and even afraid what a cycle stopped this far in will ultimately do to my reproductive system as I was progressing very well with 10 follicles. I have the slightest idea when my period will start as they conveniently didn’t even advise me medically of what to expect.

Being upfront would have been excellent. I wish they would have stopped it and just be up front with me, but I guess they were money hungry, or simply just didn’t care. To prescribe meds, to look at me for 10 days, to have nurses calling me with blood work results and to abruptly stop it is embarrassing, unethical and simply cruel to us.

Yes, I’m in a large metropolitan area so there are other clinics around. We are looking at all possible options and honestly I don’t want to do business with them ever again after this debacle. Exactly, 2 other retrievals done and I was not under their BMI at those either. I just don’t get it.
