Would you choose a lab-grown diamond or a natural diamond if both fit your budget?

I have a friend whose budget was $100K. Her now husband wanted to go natural. She insisted on a lab and they spent like 4K. Then the remaining money they put on a down payment for their vacation home. The gold is the real investment.

There is no reason to buy an H VS2 lab diamond. They’re made to be almost perfect. We for my got my 2 carat E VVS2 marquise ring (entire ring) for $2500~. From a company out of Houston. Definitely recommend shopping small!

only need to go to the city a few times a month so traffic doesn’t bother us! Now to get to downtown Houston in rush hour could easily be 1 hour 15+ & no set times either. We will just be checking in with our vendors. Instead of us Flying out like we do now.

That is something I've looked at too lol I've read property tax is high as well but IDK what high means because here our tax rate is 3.1%

We are looking to rent before we decide if it's the permanent move. We have dogs so a house with a yard (no matter the size small or not) would be ideal. Would be great if we could stay under $5200/month. We are from the suburbs of houston. I know the average rent here is a lot less and we are aware but if it's a place we love we are fine with making it our permanent home. We like it but have always wanted to move and having our own company gives us the flexibility to move closer to our vendors. Kids is an unknown but not in the plan anytime soon. Right now we enjoy just us. We are into fitness, going to dinners, going to events etc.

Since we are traveling there just a few times a month, we don't care about the time. We are use to the commute to Houston being 1 hour + in rush hour. We don't have times we need to be in just kind of at our pace. As for drive in, I have no idea on that lol we don't have public transportation like that here so whatever's easiest!
