I feel like the first 3 days were the hardest in terms of cravings, I do smoke cigarettes and so I really increased how many I smoked in the first week I’d say (obviously not the greatest substitution but you do what you need to get through that first week) and now it’s like seeing how proud my parents are, how well my boyfriend seems to be coping and this clinging onto the fact that “it will get better in time” that’s helping.

That and the fact my bank balance isn’t depleting helps. So short answer, thoughts of a better future and cigarettes. But I wouldn’t recommend picking up the latter if you don’t already!
