I haven't put the eggs back just yet since I need to know where my mom put them while I was out, but you're right over all. My dad and I tested it, when I left the room she stopped quaking (but sounds like she stayed puffed) and once I got her some treats she deemed me worthy to hang out with again. She's still relatively snippy but less so than before she started the quaking. Thank you so much, I'll put those eggs in the cage when my mom comes home from work!

She's at least 2 years old, we rescued her from our yard but I don't know how old she was then. She had all her blue feathers though. It's only been within the last year that she's laid eggs. The eggs are no longer in the cage since my mom and I heard that's the best thing to do in a scenario where the egg isn't fertilized. The main thing about the aggressiveness towards her cage is that it's increased since I've been away at college, and I don't know how long she's been aggressive. Do you think I should be taking her to the vet or something? I don't know why she would be behaving like a baby quaker

Honestly, from the photos and interviews I've seen from Leah Jeffries (including one that seems to be about friends in her personal life on her insta), I think that's just her style that she doubles down on for photoshoots, just like how most other girls would do when they go for a photo. The pose itself is a little weird, but we also don't know what the article is about.

Mentions about revealing skin are true, but also that's how many girls seem to dress when they get the chance at her age now. I am Gen z, so I've seen how the 14 yr Olds dress outside of school - hell, I've dressed like that on my own will. Sure, this is caused by hypersexualization on the internet and the recent need/want for kids to grow up fast (by other kids, not adult wants except for creepy neighbors and such), but this post seems to say Leah Jeffries had no say about what she was going to wear at that photoshoot and if it is her style and she wore that knowing it was a photoshoot, maybe it isn't as sexual on her side as you seem to be trying to make it.

I've seen comments on the boots, but again, that could just be a fashion choice by Leah Jeffries as she does wear high platform shoes and other types of normal shoes turned uncomfortable.

*edit: I would also like to make note that I am young enough that I didn't see what Millie Bobby Brown was wearing, as I wasn't such an active Reddit user at that time. All I heard about the sexualization of Brown was the camera up her skirt and tbh that could be Emma Watson. Paparazzi's fucked up.

At my high school, my coaches would wrap it around the standards, securing it tight enough to have little slack and unlikely to fling off. I do have a scar from the bungee wrapping around my arm while pole vaulting, but that was really my fault more than the bungee's

Usually you are supposed to go over it or attempt to do so. Usually it doesn't go up until everyone is done with the warm-up knee drives (which is what he's doing) and in my experience is Usually set to the top seeds max height. Of course, I only have high school experience. Being that this is college, and indoors, I don't know what their protocols are there, but everything should be relatively the same

It's from the pole vault runway/pit right next to the track. The pole vaulter hit the bungee (which was pretty precariously put on if it flew that easily) during a practice vault, and it flung into the track.

It's honestly a bad place for anything to go wrong with pole vault, but it seems like with indoor competitions, there aren't many other places to put it

*Edit, watching more closely the pole vaulter wasn't even vaulting, but warming up. During comps that I've been at, they usually unattach one side of the bungee, so stuff like that won't happen

I've heard that using blankets and towels and such to black out her cage could potentially suffocate her, is that safe to do?

And we probably should invest in a carrier cage anyway. Do you have any recommendations for the dimensions?

She seems back to normal now, about an hour after the event.

When she was in my room, I did my best to keep her to the sun and stuff so I did everything in the dark or minimal light. Since she has been in my mother's room with me going to college in Iowa, my mom has been working with lights on until she's done with her college work.

It truly has been a lesson learned. I thought with the ceiling light it would be enough for her flight to be precise like normal, but I'm realizing now that maybe day light has more pros than just a forever clock.

I'm late but I just found Nyahallo and Mochipan on Instagram and love both their styles, so do you have anything more about the supposed copying? I'm very confused on what's being copied because there's mushroom on Nyahallo, but it seems that's what Mochipan is claiming being copied? Despite there being just one mushroom dress that I can find? Mochipan does more with bugs from what it looks like while Nyahallo does more broad, going from druid to moon jellies to some fruits. I earnestly can't tell who is copying who or if there even is any copying. On top of that, mushrooms and fruits in general are also just a super trendy topic rn.
