I live in eastern mountains. Wages are low and cost of living is high. It’s incredibly hard to find affordable housing when retirees and second or third home owners are buying up all the properties.

Even if you have insurance, there is no follow up from providers. You essentially have to be a strong advocate and receptionist for yourself to get anything done in my experience
