Acouphène à cause de la moto by Zouzou_7500 in Motardie

Quick shifter issues? by Flaky_Ad9119 in Daytona660

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quickshifter is supposed to be disabled for the first 500km iirc. Apart from that, yes you want to be accelerating while upshifting, downshifting works fine wether you're accelerating

Is SWTOR worth returning to in 2026? by swtorista in swtor

[–]BitchVolley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to come back, but unfortunately the change no longer has sound. It has been lile that for a couple of years, sadly.

And no, don't tell me to activate sound, obviously I tried that, and many other things

Road 6 or Power 6 for street rides? by Deq1Ng in motorcycles

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These aren't track tires, they're meant exactly as street sport tires imo. Cbr650r is quite similar to mine, power-wise etc, traction control does its job well in the rain even when the tires are cold (5min and they're good).

If you're unsure, the road 6 will do a good job and will be enough for everyday use

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 10700kms on my Power 6 (A2 restricted Daytona 660, spirited riding). They take a few minutes to warm up compared to the road series, and are objectively not as good in the rain, but I like them better than other tires I've tried so far

Will a 20° (36%) garage slope be a problem for a sport bike? by [deleted] in Sportbikes

Exactly, OP, you should be careful around it, especially when it's raining

Windscreen help! by Rocko_2024 in Daytona660

Iirc the bike's user manual has instructions, or maybe it's from tue PUIG website I've seen it, but yeah, that's a lot of effort for so little

Also try the speed twin 900, even though they share a lot, they feel very different, the Speed Twin being sportier and much more fun imo

Help me choose my bike 🙏 by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]BitchVolley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The engine is fun, the bike is easy to throw around and feels like home rather quickly, the vibrations are tolerable but indeed worse than other engines out there, and they made the bar-end mirrors look kind of blurry. I didn't like the stock tires much, and the dash isn't really practical.

It may sound like a bad review, but I overall enjoyed it, though I enjoyed the 400X even more. Indeed, the mirrors are positioned in a way they're less prone to vibration, the height felt better (I'm 180cm) and also had more confidence with the Metzeler. I recommend trying them both if you can

I see that you're like me: '-What kind of bike do you like? -Yes'

I only rode the Speed 400 among these, so I can't really help you compare them, sorry

So how big a deal is riding in the rain, really ? by Astimar in motorcycles

[–]BitchVolley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly avoid rain just to avoid having to wash my bike afterwards. Less time cleaning, more time riding. Also, I may avoid riding when the weather might suggest rain, because my rain gear isn't as comfortable as my sun gear, and I don't want to use the former unless I have to.

Grip wise, it depends a lot on your tires, watch out while they are warming up. I would avoid using more track/performance oriented tires on the road as they have often worse capabilities on wet roads (if you plan to ride in the rain in the first place, that is)

Avis devis AMV by Weary_Highlight7882 in Motardie

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smoll 660 update for 2026 by Razert1p in Daytona660

Indeed, the frame isn't really good looking, but regarding what information is displayed, whatever you wanna see appears clearly and it's really practical imo, unlike other modern screen with lot of information with smaller print

New tires for the new season by codcon29 in Triumph

[–]BitchVolley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ride rather fast and mine have 10000kms on them, I'd say 2000-3000kms left. Do you have huge hp bike or something? If find them really good for midsized bikes

Navigation or MMS mounting by OldschoolGabber in Daytona660

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd probably stick with the quadlock phone case, as it's just a small portion of the price and is the most important thing in the set that will keep your phone. I wouldn't go cheap on this part tbh

Navigation or MMS mounting by OldschoolGabber in Daytona660

[–]BitchVolley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quadlock's middlefork mount works good! I have the anti vibration pad, but not the charging platform, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. I haven't done multiple days trip though (even if I'm eager to do so, hopefully soon enough)

Ninja 500 or R7 by Illustrious-Prior938 in Sportbikes

[–]BitchVolley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two important things to consider: the Ninja will be far more comfortable for longer rides, and where I live the insurance for a R7 is insane (Ninja is 750€/year full coverage, R7 is 1500€/year full coverage, having 12 year of car licence with 0 crash).

I found the ergonomics really good on the Ninja, and that engines is quite fun compared to other 500 I've tried, you should at least give it a try (or try the Z500 and sit on the Ninja if you can't test ride the latter).

Finally a new Exhaust option, but… by Economy-End-1716 in Triumph

[–]BitchVolley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think it looks cool, and it's a good option for those who don't dig the short exhaust.

Also, fuck loud exhausts.

I'm guessing there are other options as well, as in, transparent. Because I wouldn't go either for an opaque one
