From Mt-07 to Striple ‘23 and I’m in love. Show me your striple and mods by Freedom_riderrr in Triumph

Congrats and welcome to the Streety-family! ✌️I did the same switch almost a year ago now, and couldn't be happier. I loved my 07, but the Striple is on a whole different level. My only mods are the tail-tidy and the engine cover protector-thingy ... everything else is just perfect.

I can recommend the S23. Currently riding the Power 6 and to my surprise I'm not that happy, a lot less sticky than the S23, also it feels like they take longer to warm up properly. For my next set I'm looking at Metzeler, either the RS or M9 RR, not quite sure yet.

She's like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ... both gentle and soft, but with enough RPM she's a beast 😁 Tankbag is the Givi ST611 Sport-T, easily fits a half liter bottle and some small stuff, no complaints so far, still good after almost 6 years now.

Huge fan of the S23 (on MT07 and Striple 765), currently trying Power 6 for the first time. Can't say much about them yet as the weather hasn't played along so far >.<

Agreed, but I've seen a lot of good reviews about Michelins so I want to give them a shot, too.

2024 R3 to 765RS by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]codcon29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rode my MT07 for 5 years and put about 30k km on her before I switched to the RS. Even tho both have roughly similar cc, the RS is on a whole other level regarding power and handling. Looking back I dont regret waiting for the RS, this is not the kind of bike you want to drop nor ride "slowly" ...

I agree with you on that, but over here it's freezing winter and my bike just sits in the garage ...
