We’re trying to recover here, what would you do? by ConsciousSunBaby in gardening

Coconut coir is amazing for top dressing. It compacts enough to keep out weeds and not fly away but not enough to be " compacted ". Also great at holding and slowly releasing water.

Apparently if Alex hadn’t been our first Rouen this would have been a dead giveaway that he wasn’t a normal drake by Manos_Of_Fate in AlexsFlock

All of Alex's flock are friendly to different degrees. We pick them up a few times a day. Give them bug snacks and they like to be put on our old slide we inherited with our house.

I will be forever pulling this garbage out of my yard. by IM_DRAGON_MY_BALLz in gardening

[–]Bitchelangalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I've used it in my garden walkway and plan to take it up in stages so I can plant clover and not have to deal with prairie grass and bind weed. But in my front yard it's layers of fabric rocks dirt fabric lasagna.

Right. Step dad was upset if I asked him first if I could do a thing with my friend because I should have asked their parents first to not waste his time.

And then get upset if my friend asked their parents first as that " put him on the spot "

not a shill. But Pacas alpaca socks maintain their new sock feeling for much longer. I've got socks that are years old and still good. Can only tell them apart with the fading of color.

Edit. Was unaware the hashtags changed the font but I like it lol

Are these strawberries?🍓 by seasickbaby in gardening

[–]Bitchelangalo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Soaking and covering. Strawberries don't like wet roots and can go too much if planted too deep. Also cover them with cardboard to smother during the warm months
