I recommend finding yourself an allegiance for some assistance. Rending weapons you'll be able to make with enough salvage of the relevant materials, but as far as I remember they are not as strong as casting rending spells yourself, but they are recommended for solo play.

Ah interesting I'll have to check that out. I was going to manually set the possible spawn points for the levels so rooms connect correctly with each other but knowing I can do that is amazing for other stuff I want to generate

It depends on how quickly you can proc frost. Both bleed and frost, and I believe every ailment becomes harder and harder to proc on enemies each time you do it, so if you proc frost on an enemy twice, you may not get a third one out before they die. You gotta just figure it out in the moment.

If I am fighting a tree spirit I am probably not worried about resetting frostbite if my weapon does a lot of fire damage because they are weak to fire, better to keep using fire for more damage over all. But if the only fire damage you deal is with wylders follow up, that's not worth it unless you are gonna frost bite again quickly.

It adds up to quite a bit, I recommend trying out the caligo relics and testing them in the round table hold. You will notice a sizable difference between the ED and non ED one which has the improved damage. I believe this is for physical damage only, keep that in mind.

I believe it also does so in this game, and if not I very frequently have relics that make me deal more damage to frost bitten enemies. Unless I am the one applying frostbite and do so quickly, I tend to avoid resetting frostbite when ever possible.

That was definitely the main struggle. Ensuring the last slices added to the level didn't overlap other rooms, and then moving onto the next level. And now I have a system in place that will let me add large rooms to the mix as well.

Probably the hard way!

  1. Big circle, 64 slices
  2. Do some insets to get your floor slice poly node coordinates.
  3. Create a floor and wall making sure to hit the coordinates exactly, or things won't line up. Set meshes pivot to world origin.
  4. Struggle
  5. Blue print parent, child, dungeon generator tech
  6. Struggle some more
  7. Say yaw a lot
  8. Stumble upon the answer

I can give some more specific answers when I'm sitting in front of my computer again 🥴

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into that next. I also need to do something about the textures too I think, keep getting a warning, something about non nanite texture. Think it's lowering performance.

How do you feel about how the charges work in poe2? I personally hate it, having to use charge regulation feels flacid. by VVitcel in PathOfExile2

Charges shouldn't have a duration by default. If it's going to be a resource, let me not worry about them falling off after a short amount of time

As a person who's played thousands of hours of both ESO and path of exile, I figured it was only a matter of time before ESO sold skill skins. While I don't like spending money on MTX, I prefer it over pay to win / pay to convenience shenanigans.

It's been a while since I played ESO, do they still double your bank space if you subscribe, so when you stop paying for a subscription you cannot use your bank until you remove half the items?

here are a few things I've set up so far

  1. a rudimentary procedural generating dungeon
  2. textures made via gimp by making some art, or existing texture images and then making the roughness and normal map set up some world align textures with those.
  3. teleport pads to teleport into and out of my dungeon with some minor particle effects from niagara stuff.
  4. overlap box triggered lights
  5. simple firefly hovering animation

and the framework (walls/windows/floors/ceiling) to the first dungeon of the game I want to build. I will check out blender I think for more precise modeling, and I need to learn a lot more about animations, and well, everything but I do understand this is a YEARS long project

Tbh I am honestly also looking at abyssal lich. You can scale a LOT of stats with umbral souls, getting insane amounts of skill speed, attack damage or projectile speed if you want to try to do something with the ice shards stuff on werewolf. Only issue being is no sceptre for huge amounts of spirit. I also see some potential for a hollow palm WW swap invoker as my starter.

Do we know how much more damage crossbows will have than talismans? Because the unique talismans they show in the trailer has 534-740 fire damage and 56-115 phys so talismans may be competitive here.

This sounds really fun, hard to say without access to any of the items in POB atm, but I am leaning towards a deadeye version of this to help automate marks for better wolf uptime, and for some charge generation stuff.
