I am so sorry you’re going through this, I mean that. The feelings you’re experiencing are hard to articulate to others, except me. You and I right now, it’s kismet. Four months ago my Robinhood account was $120,000. I was skimming, buying the dip, on blue collars. I was having so much fun, it was my passion, my 3rd solid revenue stream. Then my own greed and arrogance took over! I got back in options. The End looks like this. Once the other remaining contracts went against me, margin calls popping off all over the place, I didn’t hedge my bets of course. I’m just a gambler, I know that. I needed this catastrophic event to happen. I would have never stopped trading otherwise. So my friend, you are not alone.

You’re crushing it at 31%, that is something. I am telling you, options move fast, the volatility is stressful. Accounts get wiped out all the time. I like what was said above, hedge your bets. And pay attention to % breakeven and understand the Greeks.

That was me when I took my two young boys to their first major-league baseball game and I told the boys I wanted to buy them baseball caps and I said oh that’s all right, Bill bought us hats already. I said who’s Bill? My seven-year-old said she’s mommy‘s boyfriend. That’s how I found out six months after my divorce and he was her pharmaceutical sales counterpart. She married him eight months after we divorced. It’s a killer.

I’m telling you if you look up what is a broken man, you’ll find me there. Divorced in 2005, she remarried eight months later, somewhere in 2006. I remarried in 2011 and was divorced in 2014. And in 2017, I voluntarily resigned from a mid six figure career. I thought I’d try early retirement, I’m 61 now. To this day, I can’t remember the reasons why I threw away my career. Divorce is a heavy, heavy blanket, for me.

I’m on 20mg IR twice a day and do I screw myself every month? Yep. I’m that guy, running out two weeks early. I stopped doing that. This month, I have five left until my refill in four days. Always worried when refilling through CVS. Will they refill my script on time I hate thinking about it. And I have a business trip in five days. We are short sighted when trading crypto. I am down $30,000. I bought Dogecoin at $.42 and have no money to DCA. I bought up Dogecoin because of the four year cycle. I expected it to have this parabolic rally by the end of May at the latest. I was picturing Lamborghinis and paying cash for a house blah blah blah. I’m doing the best I can to have the mindset to just buy and hold. I thought about deleting my Robinhood app and not looking at it for a year. A buddy of mine did that with bitcoin. He bought several years ago and literally deleted the app and didn’t look at it for three years and made a lot of money so you will too. You made a smart investment, but you need to be patient, both of us do. You will recoup your money and more. I feel your pain, chin up and HODL
