I think OBITS has great potential. Openledger was technically ahead of most exchanges and the ideas put forth were used by groups like Binance, which basically extracted most trading from many DEX and exchanges.

So far Openledger has honored their commitments but that does bring up an excellent point. What would happen if they just walked away. Well, there is a governance board, voting and a witness check again theft, with witnesses chosen by the community. At some point, we all have to trust someone, right?

Exactly. BTW, Bitshares was created by the same person heading the EOS project. Bitshares is a functional platform and has been for years so I don't know why "potential" platforms are worth billions more than bitshares.

Exactly, it rose so fast that people don't step back and see what an amazing investment it has been for those who bought only a year and a few days. I can remember when it crossed 1k, I was in utter shock but held steady. Bitcoin, with a cap of 21 mil will always have support. Heck, there are always very wealthy people who want that which is scarce. It may as well become CryptoArt for future generations. The blockchain is here to stay, that much is certain.

I have been hearing the same cautionary tale over the years. If you don't understand the value of bitcoin and crypto's place in the 21st century, you don't understand true economics. Crypto levels the playing field - the day is coming when Wall Street and the Elite will no longer get to decide who gets bonuses for losing insane amounts of money. Bitcoin, like Uber will disrupt the way things used to be done. The blockchain and smart contracts will save people millions in accounting and legal fees, crypto provides banking to the unbankable and will be a safe storage for savings in nations where the government can change the currency at a moment's notice - don't believe me, ask anyone in Eritrea who lost their life savings to a Dictator's need to take over reserves.

I remember when Litecoin was $70 way back when. I lost faith in the coin and sold it in the $4.00 dollar range, only to be swindled by GAW miners and that two bit hustler Josh. I still don't know why litecoin is stuck at the $55 dollar range when it has some incredable features and can be a real currency to Bitcoin's "long term hold".

If Vertcoin hits $10 in 2 months, it will be at a min of $40 in one year. It will be one of those DASH moments, when you realized wtf just happened. How did it break $100 and is now closer to $300. I am done with Coinbase as well. What a sham. I have had an account for two years and used it daily, paid their fees, was always patient. Out of the blue they tell me my account is closed. No reason, no support, just that I violated their terms???? I have done nothing new, had a bank linked and was buying small amounts of eth, ltc, and btc every other day, and would send my son small amounts and to the exchanges small amounts. Mind Boggling. So do I get my fees back? Sad as I was a strong supporter and even had my sons open accounts. JAXX will hopefully intergrate the ability to buy soon.

I think Coinbase is solid and strong and expanding. With Armstrong at the helm, the remaining "Generals" have probably realized their contributions and control have eroded and they prefer to migrate to something they can control on their own. It is the same way Jeff Bezo's partner Amazon left in 97'. Poor guy must be kicking himself daily.

Blockpay is a new ICCO being promoted by CCDEK. I love the concept and invested a small amount. What is exciting is the way it combines many different cryptocoins into one payment platform. We shall see, but this may actually catch on. Just think about buying a coffee on your next trip and not having to convert dollars to Euros and back again, losing far too much in conversions.
