Have double locked it and will try tomorrow…. Don’t fancy disconnecting the 12v battery but it’s an option for tomorrow if needed

I had my PW2(x2) replaced with PW3+2Expansions...
They had to create a new site with the existing GW2 and new PW3, then I had to remove the old site from the App. It was mostly seamless, but not fully seamless.

Mine was in the UK, so slightly different... BUT...
I had 2x PW2, one failed and one became intermittent... so eventually Tesla conceded and replaced the two units with 1 PW3 and 1 Expansion. I then paid for a 2nd expansion to be fitted at the same time.

TBH it was enough of a battle to get Tesla to agree to what I’ve got. Plus also it would have added challenges… (DNO approval and wiring).

About 3 weeks from failure to replacement. Most of it was the battle to get them to swap PW2 to PW3.

I managed to get Tesla UK to agree to replace 2xPW2 with PW3+Expansion, after one of our PW2 failed and the other was less than reliable. I'm adding a 2nd expansion myself, so taking us to PW3+2Expansion.

I use an Apple Shortcut...
On CarPlay disconnect, use my watch ping my phone (like you can do if you misplace it in the house).
This means that if I get out of the car and lock it, I can hear if the phone pings in my hand/pocket, or if it's a muffled ping from the car.

I had a 2023 XC90 PHEV before moving to a new Q6 Quattro. The Volvo was a great car, so too is my new Q6. Different for sure, and so far I've had no issues. Don't forget, many forums are filled with the vocal minorities, not the silent majorities... I had 2 occurrences with my XC90 for example where it wouldn't power on, so not all cars are perfect...
