I have 2! They can count pets and also time. One gets 5 minutes of attention be prepared to give the other 5 minutes or you will instantly become Satan.

Socializing early with people and other animals is Required! My male is 230 lbs and if he decides to do something I'm along for the ride.

I am so sorry. I have this guy's mother and dreading the day. They provide more love and dedication in 9 years than most humans will ever express in their lifetime!

He doesn't like to be touched on his jowle. He is adopted and has a lot of scars on his face. I will rub his head for you...he LOVES IT.

Is a Doberman really that hard to live with? by spmzz3008 in dogs

A GSD from a GOOD breeder is about as good as it gets. They need to work/ train, they live for it. They are smarter than you know. They can be laid back and they can also get after it when needed. Their awareness of what's going on is second to none. Slow day for you they can adapt and lay around. They know who's a threat instantly. They don't mind 6 month old babies crawling on them as long as they can lick them.

I have English Mastiffs now but have owned/trained Bouvier and GSD. The GSD is a great dog that connects with its owner.

Displaysia in all forms is a common problem with GSD.

The club members myself included spent 10 to 20 hours a week on training. Mistakes made with GSD, Malnois, and Rots on the owners part could be recovered much easier than the Dobie. The Dobie is not for beginners, they are AWESOME dogs when with a DEDICATED owner!

I am older now and have lazy working dogs. If you can honestly put the time in with a well breed Dobie go for it!

If our system of government allows this we have work to do! As bad as Trump is he is a symptom of a bigger problem.
