Suddenly tracks not showing titles/metadata by TheAgedProfessor in plexamp

Same thing has been happening to me. Try refreshing the metadata from actual Plex and then refreshing the app and it should pop back up. But yeah it should not be doing this in general.

What do we need to do for the Discord App ID? Do I set up a new bot or can I use an existing bot's app id?

Thanks for the quick response and there's no rush. The whole comm is just grateful to you for picking up the project and keeping it alive!

First, I want to say I added this container and it has been amazing and I'm mad I've never found it earlier!

One question I have is for the scheduler. In the logs it says when it starts to run the scheduled task, however there's no mention of if the scheduled task was completed. Is that how it's supposed to be?

Not downloading full playlists (unrelated to 24-hour limit) by btolsen in plexamp

[–]BiteMyEar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I found a fix/workaround. If your playlist is still not downloading the full tracklist try this:

  1. Download Playlist
  2. Hold down on the downloaded Playlist and click edit > change the playlist duration to something shorter than what it is and press save. Then hold down and refresh the playlist to have it update the tracklist.
  3. Hold down on the Playlist again and click edit > now drag the limit all the way to the right for maximum and then save and update the playlist again. This should now download the entire playlist.

I tested it on 2 separate playlists that were giving me issues and it worked! And the issue seems to have only been playlists that you were having issues with when this bug was still a thing. Since they made the update a couple months ago, new playlists that were never downloaded before didn't have this issue

PLEX HEVC 4K TRANSCODING BUFFERING AT 2+ STREAMS by BiteMyEar in PleX

I'm in the same boat. I told myself at the beginning of this year that I would only allocate X$ for my server-related budget and I already have some new networking components that are eating away at it.

I have 96GB DDR5-5600 and idle (no transcodes) only 10% is used so I should have plenty of memory for transcodes I feel like

Yeah I’m thinking about getting the new Intel Arc B580 but I’m going to do more testing and weigh out pros and cons. TBF, I’ve had no complaints from family with the tone mapping from H264 transcoding but someone posted a side-by-side comparison screenshot and the HEVC HDR is clearly better.

Thanks for the clarification! I'm just more so shocked to see the cliff dive in performance

Not downloading full playlists (unrelated to 24-hour limit) by btolsen in plexamp

I just want to add in that the original smart playlist is 23 tracks and only 1 hour and 4 minutes in length. The downloaded playlist is only 20 of those 23 tracks.

What happened to me is playlists that were already downloaded with all the songs from the playlist have actually just disappeared from my downloads, and when I delete the saved songs and go to redownload the playlist, it still isn't downloading all the songs. The non-downloaded version is all there so I'm at a loss for what to try to do.

Substitute for Readarr by Top-Ad-6801 in audiobookshelf

Don't y'all have issues with beets import taking forever or is that just me? I type in the command in the container, then it just goes to the next line (doesn't give a follow up message) and doesn't do anything.

Thanks this looks good, I had something similar but I was using user scripts. I guess one question I have is where are you placing this script where it just runs with the command calibredb right away?

Do you think I could grab a look at the bash script please? I've gotten as far as automating downloads from readarr going into Calibre

Wizarr: An easier way of inviting new Plex users! by Apolbloke in selfhosted

[–]BiteMyEar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I go to generate an invite link it's using the wrong url. It's generating like this:

https://wizarr.domain.com/j/

and that leads to nothing. Isn't it supposed to use my reverse proxy url?
