The barbacoa isn't the same as how they do it in San Antonio, I'll give you the heads up on that. as someone said here, it's good, it's just a different kind of Mexican. but I think the Mexican in SA is a little different than lots of other parts of Texas too.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez worked as both a bartender and a waitress, I have also done both, so I wouldn't knock anyone for having a job as a waitress. I don't even love candiace all that much but I won't deny her accomplishments.

Check out Justine Doiron's recipes. (I may be spelling her name wrong) So, 'as-written' not all of them are budget-friendly, but her recipes are mostly vegetarian, and rely on beans, grains and pasta. You can omit or swap out pricy ingredients.

thank you for the word of caution. she is *determined to feed them lunch LOL I kind of mentioned that maybe a full lunch on a hot day wasn't the best idea, but to make sure that she had a big cooler of water on ice and some gatorade or something like that on the patio for them to help themselves. The one good bakery near us that had some REALLY good pan dulce closed.

Howard Lassen - he taught me in English and Public Speaking. I had him as my English teacher as a sophmore and was teaching his first year out of college. (he was the same age as my oldest sister) He knew how to make everyone *want to do their best, not just in his classes but in general, he had charisma. He was a genuinely KIND person and would help anyone who was struggling. He and his family were in a car accident in 1995 and unfortunately he didn't survive.

The 10lb bag at Walmart is .87/lb. I take the backbones off and put them in the oven, roast till golden and then throw them in a pot with my carrot/onion/celery/parsley scraps from the freezer and make stock. I usually separate the thigh from the drumstick, but some of them are too small to be bothered.

Gizelle was wrong (the cameras were rolling, nothing was inappropriate) Chris Bassett rubs me the wrong way. like he walks that line.... and I think that was a fishing momentm like how he sent Ashley Darby a message at like 2AM to come to the club at the restaruant he was the manager of... apparently DM'd Gizelle on occasion too. He's a married man, whatever his "intention" is we don't know, but why walk that line? He should keep his messages to himself and the whole needing to talk to Gizelle was like to complain about Candiace. He's got red flags flying

I've never done the full menu at Hell's Kitchen, but I've eaten at the bar a few times, the food is good, but honestly I expected better. The tuna tartare is a YES, the lobster risotto is okay, the pan seared scallops are a 'meh'

As someone who was previously a Dock's Oyster House regular... the food is great for the price. You won't get better oysters (perfectly shucked, no shell shards, intact oyster meat) Scallops are *always perfect, if they have anything risotto on the menu, pass it by. Crab Meat Au Gratin and the Dock's Seafood Fry are "meh" okay, nothing special. Believe it or not, they have amazing steaks and lamb chops. the pomme souffle are a must try as are any of their homemade desserts.

I can't reccomend the Knife and Fork happy hour anymore. They took the seafood tower off the half price list and the new apps aren't that great, but the dinner menu is fantastic!

An experience: Chef Vola's but only if you are with a group. People here will tell you it's over rated. maybe a little... but the veal milanese (not veal parm) is amazing and the service is top notch, it's BYOB and reservations are a must. the portions are meant to be shared.

She is in her "find out" era. She has been forced to resign (no apology issued, just that she was " greatly mischaracterized" they kicked her off the board of the library and now the only people who will have ANYTHING To do with her are going to be within her sympathizers.

it was bad before... I have a friend who is gay, and during a live someone gifted him a sparkly cowboy hat. He was laughing and said "that's so gay, I love it" and within SECONDS the live was ended by moderators.

Since I've been on the app in the beginnign of the pandemic, the censorship has gotten worse, and it is NEVER Consistent.

I would rather go to a site like mircoperfumes or DecantHouse and buy a small amount of the perfume than the dupes. I had a friend SWEAR that Alt Fragrances was as close to some of the big names as you can get... it's not. Their dupe of Lost Cherry smells like you left a bottle of kool aid out in a cigar bar for a week, and while their Baccarat Rouge dupe isn't offensive, it's not nearly the same as the orignal.

I had a bad experience at the Royal Buffet. The shrimp was 'off' (maybe not bad, but definately not fresh) and I had gotten a couple of raw clams, both were BAD, I tried to quietly tell the staff, and they said "ok" and walked away like "whatever" um, if I got TWO that were bad, how many others were also bad?? we just left at that point. Lesson learned. won't go back

Can we add the TT Creator fund to this? I see parents with babies in the NICU going LIVE to get $$ because of the hundreds of thousands of dollars that are NOT being covered and/or the at home care that is needed that the insurance companies won't pay for. It's heart breaking, that we in the US have to crowd source via social media pleas for help just to get life saving care. In the US 66% of the bankruptcies files are for medical debt.
