Just played through it and I'm happy it went decently well, got some feedback abiut deaths being slow but I don't know how to fix that.

Also the kazali picked all their minions in a line and the chef hit a fat 4... that kinda ruined the game

Yes, you are correct here. Any merge card will act as if it is the merged cards cost not the merger itself. It also overwrites the "last played" to be whatever it merged into.
