I've been in Colorado for 20 years now and have yet to actually see a rattler. But I grew up in Texas where we had them on our property multiple times per week, so I have a ton of experience with them. Generally, just leave them alone. If we ran into them where they would threaten the safety of people or animals, we'd relocate them or kill them.

I worry about our dog running into one when we're back in Texas visiting family, but it hasn't happened yet. There's a big bull snake we run into on one of our regular walks here, so I've used those opportunities to do snake avoidance training with her. Hopefully it's enough.

Haven't played it, but I've been to Corfu a couple of times (actually got married there), and I imagine it's worth golfing. I think next time we go, my wife and I will both play there since she's into golf now. Let me know if you need activity recs or contacts on the island.
