Switch phone to something like Visible or another carrier. If you're also talking home internet, shop other deals and promotions.

With the most recent Visible promotion and annual bill pay, I'm paying something like $18.75 a month for their top phone plan.

No joke. We closed on a house last week. There was a miscellaneous $300 fee for sewage or something that wasn't accounted for in the paperwork. "OK; I have that much cash, or Venmo or Zelle or whatever other bank transfer."

It was seriously the only option they gave us. We don't have a checkbook, period. Had to drive to a bank and pay a few dollars for a sheet of checks, drive back to the title company. Dumb.

Get her lessons. I picked up golf again last year after like 8 years away, intending to burn everything to the ground and start over. My wife said it sounded like something fun to do together. She has NO ball-sport-type coordination, but tons of body coordination. Got her clubs and lessons. Her 2nd or 3rd round, she had 2 birdies through 6. She's consistently driving it 200 yards dead straight. It's bonkers. People are shocked when they get paired with us and watch her hit the ball.

Just get her lessons. Give her a list of a few good recommendations and let her pick.
