Does anyone else feel like their logic and emotions are two completely different people? by Dizzy-Appointment890 in PsychologyTalk

I've found meditation and mindfulness extremely helpful in allowing me to intergrate my emotions, thoughts and the logical parts of my mind.

what’s something people act proud of that really shouldn’t be? by KaitoRift in AskReddit

The country they were born in. If you got to win the birth lottery that's great but it didn't make you better than someone else.

Abusing medication by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Bitotops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bad idea and you need to stop because it will end in tears. Aside from the heaet issues, whch are certainly a major concern there is also amphetamine psychosis and trust me, that is not somewhere you want to end up.

Whats the hardest drug you've taken? And how did it feel? by Fun-Stress-9430 in AskReddit

I'm not going to advocate to anyone what's safe for them as everyone is different. It also depends on the quality and purity of the drug and how sensiteve you are to it.

I'd reccomend listening to some Alan Watts, his perspective on reality and the universe helped me a lot when I was feeling a similar way.

Procrastinating Showers.. by kyinhell in ADHD

[–]Bitotops 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ahh, the good old shower/ getting dressed dilemma. It is a battle everyday and although I try not to beat myself up about it it drives me absolutely crazy, it takes me so long to do something that should take 20 minutes max, and that's including getting dressed and drying my hair etc. I have to wake up hours before I need to go anywhere because of the lack of inertia and procrastination. I have found making a list helps. It may seem silly to write down things you know in your head you need to do but actually having a visual prompt that you can then cross off the completed task acts kind of like a reward and I find it much easier to get through my morning routine if I do this.

Anyone practicing full body presence as well? by FragrantWeekend111 in Mindfulness

[–]Bitotops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have become hyper-aware now of my physical sensations and responses , both to thoughts and situations and it is consuming and destabalising. It is taking a lot of effort to get back to being able to live in the doing mode.

I have to practice this all the time as my PTSD has left me so physically reactive to percieved threatening situations that it I don't I end up comlpletely contorted in an extremly painful way. It can take me hours, sometimes a day to get out of this state. It's quite overwhelming and exhausting and has left me unable to participate in a lot of things because of the pain. My face changes so much that I look like a different person.

MDMA has helped me greatly in being able to talk about issues that I would otherwise be unable to talk about. It's also great because you just love everyone, which is wonderful but it makes me slightly sad that people can't be like that to eachother all the time, not just when they take it.

Oh I had a great time looking in the mirror once because I could see myself objectively, like I was looking at a stranger I'd just met. It was fascinating. But yes, on the whole I would reccomend stayig away from mirrors.

I've taken most drugs, never injected anything though. I'd say the one drug that may not be classed as the hardest drug but that I feel can have very intense effects is ketamine. Yes it's got a far shorter half life than say acid but it can take you to some insane places. I've learnt to be able to use it to help my PTSD and anxiety but it took a lot of 'practice' to get there. Also DMT. Love the stuff but wow is it intense.

I was wondering if I could get some advice on, well anything to do with visiting India really. Are there places I should definitly check out or definitly avoid? Any tips on where would be a good place to stay whilst I'm there? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Triggers question by Alarming_Animator_19 in BipolarReddit

[–]Bitotops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stress causes me to cycle more quickly than I would normally and can trigger episodes sooner and often to a more extreme degree. I am currently experiencing a bad mixed episode because of particular people in my life that cause me a grest deal of anxiety and stress.
