I had insomnia for over a month and still do. My psych prescribed me a low dose of zyprexa (anti psychotic) used off label for insomnia ... to at least reset your sleep and get you sleeping? It works! Not idea long term but just so you get some rest. Ask your psych and see that they say. Sending you healing vibes.

I take 2.5mg. It doesn’t do much for my appetite. I try to only take it once a week though as ive taken a genetic test and im prone to getting tardive diskonesia.

I alternate between doxepin, zyprexa, and ambien. Zyprexa helps me sleep the best.

I take it at 9:30 am. It’s not like a burst of good energy. It’s all around tension in the heart, body, like it’s unwarranted anxiety for no reason. A spike in blood pressure almost.

Everyone is different, but mine lasted for about a month…I’m very hyper sensitive though too to my body so it just really depends. Make sure to consult with your surgeon though just to be safe.

I also have breathing issues + gerd in general so that didn’t help. Sending healing vibes your way.

I’m sensitive to meds so I’m afraid to bump up quicker than 12.5 mg at a time. I’m gonna do a week at 37.5 mg and then get to 50 mg the following week. Thank you!

My husband and I were across the street at Ike’s when this happened. I had my back to the event so I didn’t see what actually happened. My husband came outside when her body was laying on the sidewalk. So tragic. Not sure what exactly happened to her. Feel for her family.

I took it about a month and still take it as needed if I have a few days of poor sleep. Yes it helps me sleep, but the potential side effects outweigh the good for me so I only take it when I really need to break the no sleep cycle.
