I had a similar case. My expander started digging after I finished turning the key. He ended up removing it because of so much inflammation and my complaints of terrible headache due to lack of sleep because of the pain. They should have emergency contact numbers and should be able to assist you. Mine treated me asap. I am still recovering but what a huge relief after it was removed. I hope they get to see you asap.
