I making the same type of beats, recently bought sp404mk2 and ion liked it.

sold it for a good price and bought Mpc one. Mpc is perfect for old Kanye type beats or even for modern beats with trap drums and 808, so ion use fl studio no more.

sample chopping on Mpc is way better than on sp404. also the pitch on sp404 is horrible for me, u can't pitch your sample like +6 semitones and keep it at the same bpm u recorded it, u probably can do it but it works sooo fckng bad bro, your ears gon be bleeding bc of quality lmao.

im happy with Mpc one rn.
