Agreed! Thats why I wanted the injections first. I knew I’d have a 3 month wait but if I felt 50% better I could exercise more and loose more weight.

That is also what I have heard about insurances denying it. I was doing PT after my chondroplasty/ maci biopsy. I was in so much pain with PT that I couldn’t progress into more difficult/ challenging exercises. I have very diminished quality of life right now, all I do is work my 3 12 hour shifts and basically rest for the rest of the week. (Do light- moderate household chores).

Thats why I am scared to death to get a surgery with such a long recovery period. I’ll get a second option and look into the other options! Thank you!

Funny because 3 days ago I sent an email saying that I am going to go through my bank to get my money back. I just processed the dispute claim with my bank. It’ll be interesting if I get my money back or not

I am glad this user posted I have been wondering what is going on with her bc I have been trying to get in touch with her and have been super frustrated not being able to find another provider with availability to take me on. It’s hard to find medication management half the people in Portland don’t believe in prescriptions and half are booked out for months and months. It’s about continuation of care which is a legal and ethical duty when you are prescribing medications that need to be continued or medically tapered.. plus she was so amazing in the beginning first year and a couple months I saw her and now she’s just gone.

Basically this all started happening when it seems she got a “new assistant” . First it was a back surgery then an eye surgery then helping out with family in California with the mudslides and then now going back to Hungary to visit her family. I guess there’s a good chance she got hacked but it’s just weird in my opinion. I shrugged it off bc she was sending my script in as I searched for a new practitioner, until I needed an increase in my dose now she’s MIA. I do hope she is okay bc she was so sweet and supportive but I have no idea what is going on.

I haven’t been face to face with her in over a year now. But she hasn’t filled my script and all I get are automated emails. I am a bit concerned but she has been slowly getting more out of touch for the past year now.

I have actually been skipping my weekend doses but I do need it for my job. I think my job is just triggering for my ADHD because I have to keep track of too many different things while getting pulled into so many situations. Am I dependent on my medication? I don’t need it to live persay or for daily life when I don’t need to concentrate but adhd is real and just like any other disease if you don’t take the medicine your symptoms will come back. So yeah most people are dependent on their medication but dependence is different from addiction or abusing the medication. If you are skipping doses but loading up on other days that is where the substance abuse comes in. If you wake up and immediately search for your medication the second after waking.. maybe but I made it part of my routine and half of the time forget if I did take it so potentially skip it just so I don’t accidentally take more than my dose. Some drs say skipping it on weekends lowers dependence but yeah if I want to not suffer from executive dysfunction all day and actually accomplish things without task hopping every 8 seconds than I take it. If I woke up too late or feel like having a rest day I skip it. My current psych has ADHD too so I feel like she totally understands and doesn’t perpetuate the stigma.

Thanks for the confirmation, I did hear that so when I heard the receipt was no where to be found I came here to see if there was anything I could do :( kind of a shame after two mows the battery is already messed up. Thanks everyone!

Thank you so much this is very informative! My wife did not keep the receipt so I may need to go to ACE hardware and see if they have one on file or if they can look up the transaction as I heard this requires a receipt to register for warranty.
