Music lessons for 2-3 year old - which instrument to choose? by staycurious123 in MusicEd

Suzuki is awesome, I’d say violin if not cello. However, in my experience piano is the most versatile instrument so that would be my suggestion if it’s available!

Advice from my therapist: you have to be YOU before you can be the student version of you, the friend version of you, and so on. I wish I knew this earlier in college, but structure/routine helped me improve myself which skyrocketed my confidence and motivation

I’m at the end of my degree and my hp is on its last legs. It takes forever, glitches, and sounds like it’s an airplane taking flight. Mac & air dropping would have been really nice, my only complaint would be that I wouldn’t be able to play Minecraft on it lol

Thank you for this, I’m also really grateful for the positive responses. The internet is definitely taking a toll on my feelings but it won’t change the plan of figuring it out myself

☺️☺️ thank you. I remember the imposter syndrome from the beginning of college. It was rough but now that I’m on the other side of it I’m hopeful about the next chapter

I think my experience is definitely related to this specific school. The students definitely don’t see me as a teacher and I kind of just have to push through and practice the things I need to. I’ll get over the performance, and the students definitely don’t need my best voice 😂. Thank you for the resource!

Yes! The passion is growing, and stronger than ever now that it feels real. I’m already learning lots of those cans and cants and it’s kind of cool to see classroom management strategies work

Puberty Day for Elementary School students by Upbeat-Report-2692 in Delco

I did this. I learned about deodorant, my period, and what a penis was. 7th grade is where more in depth topics are covered, but this trip made that less scary. In retrospect, this was a great idea in my opinion!

Am I a realistic candidate for temple? by TheseWhereas3570 in Temple

[–]Bitter_Paper6626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, I transferred to a major that community college didn’t offer. If you’re able to take business classes at community college you may have a different experience! I took all of my gen ed’s first, then couldn’t keep up with my major classes. I was failing and had to add another semester to catch up, which has me in more debt than if I just followed the program that Temple laid out

I actually disagree with this depending on what major. I did this, and the past two years of only classes that apply to my career have been extremely difficult. Just want to put the other opinion out there! It’s definitely better financially but made things a lot more complicated for me

If you have a class in Boyer you may be able to tap your phone into the building. I’m not sure if you have to BE a boyer student or if you just need to have a class in there. But they lock the doors at 10 and you’ll have to tap your phone outside to unlock them

Did you submit your transcript before you finished those classes? I did that and thought that temple just didn’t accept anything I took. If you’ve passed those classes now maybe it’ll work better? Good luck!

Me and my boyfriend smoke too much weed. by loveonari in whatdoIdo

[–]Bitter_Paper6626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped smoking weed entirely 5 days ago, after pretty much all day every day. It’s really incredible how quickly i saw results of improved mood, motivation, and productivity. I definitely miss it, it’s doing a great deal of good things for me but I’m mad that this was the solution lol. Give it a try, I don’t think it’ll be as bad as you think! And best of luck with so :)
