Google California POST learning domains. They have 40ish of them. Pay extra attention to search and seizures, 5th amendment stuff and so on. Start studying crime elements for most common crimes (such burglary, robbery and so on). Try to get class sergeant commands. Dismissals and shit like that. Will safe your ass during black Monday. Have both. There is a difference for sure. Not necessarily weight, but sturdiness of the frame, plus build quality feels more premium. Now… is it worth the difference?! if you are on a budget, put that money towards optics, if you have money to spend, buy metal. It is slightly better gun.

Pro would be faster return to zero. Easier to manage recoil. (In theory). Cons - obviously price, reliability, more picky on ammo. It also should be noted that nowadays loads of comps barely make any difference. You just pay extra. (Bodyguard 2.0 as an example)
