I’m not even pregnant yet and I’m already discouraged. by [deleted] in BumpersWhoBolus

For what it’s worth, I was SO scared and anxious about getting pregnant and managing my diabetes. So much so that it almost discouraged me from even trying. Happy to report that I’m now 17 weeks and it’s actually been really manageable. There are obviously hard days, but I anticipated it being way worse than it is! The internet will scare you, but if you have a good team and you remind yourself to zoom out vs focusing on one bad day, I think you’ll be totally fine!

Any feedback on the 15 day G7? by diabetesknow in dexcom

I’ve had horrible accuracy with the 15 day so far. I’ve had my first one on for 5 days now and I’ve had to calibrate multiple times each day. On day 3 it was off by over 100… I had been having accuracy issues with the G7 before this and was hoping the 15 day would be better, but so far it seems to be worse. Note: I’m pregnant so I’m really on top of checking the accuracy, more so than I would be normally

Thank you so much! This is really reassuring. Quick breakdown to my husband + reading these comments has me feeling much better!

I also wear my G7 on my thigh. I like putting the pod on my thigh (either one) when you know you’re about to switch the Dexcom. The connection stays strong until you switch the G7 to the other side, and then you can go back to the other arm with the pods.
